    摘要: This endoscope apparatus adapted to meter NMR (nuclear magnetic resonance) is provided with an endoscope having a channel and an NMR metering probe insertable through the channel. The endoscope has an elongate insertable part having an observing window and illuminating window in the tip part, an observing system for observing an object to be imaged by receiving a light from the object entering through the observing window, an illuminating light output system emitting an illuminating light through the illuminating window and a hollow channel formed within the insertable part and opening in the tip part. Preferably, at least the tip side of the insertable part if formed of a non-ferromagnetic characteristic material. The NMR metering probe has a signal transmitting member insertable through the channel of the endoscope, connected at one end to the NMR metering apparatus and able to transmit high frequency signals and a loop-like antenna part connected to the other end of the signal transmitting member and projected out of the opening of the channel.

    摘要: A hyperthermia apparatus for effecting the thermotherapy by heating a cancer locally including two outside-body electrodes to be arranged on an outer surface of a patient's body, an inside-body electrode to be inserted into a cavity of the patient's body, a high frequency power supply circuit for generating a high frequency power, and a switch connected between the high frequency power supply circuit and the electrodes for selectively supplying the high frequency power to two electrodes so that the cancer can be locally heated to a desired high temperature. At each electrode there are provided balloons through which temperature controlled liquid mediums are circulated to prevent portions of the body near the electrodes from being heated to undesired high temperatures. The liquid mediums circulated through the balloons are electrically isolated from each other completely.

    摘要: An endoscope has a flexible insertion portion having distal and proximal end portions. Elastic actuators for bending the insertion section are mounted in the insertion section. Each elastic actuator has an inner space and is longitudinally expanded/contracted when a fluid is supplied to/discharged from the inner space. A converting unit is provided in the insertion section and converts an expanding/contracting motion of the elastic actuator into a bending motion of the insertion section. The elastic actuator is connected to a control unit for controlling the fluid in the inner space of the elastic actuator.

    摘要: An endoscope forceps stopcock has a cylindrical body. The body has a lower engagement section detachably fitted to an insertion mouthpiece of an endoscope, and an upper engagement section to which a cap is detachably fitted. The body and cap are connected to each other by a coupling member. A valve section is formed in the body between the engagement sections to close an insertion channel and provided with a pushing section and an insertion section allowing for the insertion of medical operation instruments. The pushing section presses the cap in accordance with the extent of the deformation of the valve section when the pressure in the insertion channel is increased, thereby holding the cap in cooperation with the upper engagement section.

The abrasive grains are tentatively fastened to the adhesive layers, after which the abrasive grains are permanently fastened with a metal plated layer formed by electrolytic deposition.

A method of fabricating a solid-state imaging device includes the steps of forming a planarizing film composed of a first inorganic film, forming a second inorganic film on the planarizing film, forming a lens-shaped resist layer on the second inorganic film, and etching back the resist layer to form an on-chip lens composed of the second inorganic film. The first inorganic film constituting the planarizing film and the second inorganic film constituting the on-chip lens preferably transmit ultraviolet light.
