    摘要： A controller (1) holds appliance data acquired from an appliance (3) regularly and without loss. A display terminal (2) is capable of moving to other rooms through a receptacle and holds the appliance data acquired from the appliance (3). When there is loss in the appliance data for a part of time period because of a move and the like, the display terminal (2) executes acquisition request to the controller (1) to acquire this non-collected data of the appliance. The controller (1) transmits the appliance data to the display terminal (2) in response to the request of the display terminal (2). The display terminal (2) acquires (or complements) the non-collected data from the controller (1) and display the data.

    摘要： A front and a back cloth body are bonded at the edges to form a bag. The bag is inflated from an air bag device disposed on a seat back so that it expands between a seat and a side door, thus protecting a passenger over a range from a torso to a head. The bag contains a supply section which holds an inflator that injects a pressurized fluid into the bag. A torso protection section, contiguous with the supply section, extends forward from the supply section. A head protection section, contiguous with the torso protection section, extends upward from the torso protection section. When the inflator is activated pressurized fluid is injected to expand head protection section. The resulting inflation pressure tends to make front side air bag pivot around the supply portion. To prevent this, in one embodiment an auxiliary section is inflated with a pressure in a direction opposite to the rotation at roughly the same time as the expansion of the head protection section. In another embodiment, the head protection section and the torso protection section are folded diagonally toward each other. In yet another embodiment, fuse stitches are used to delay the inflation of the head protection until after the torso protection section is inflated. The side air bag is then folded or rolled into the air bag device.

    摘要： A semiconductor laser device producing visible light includes a double heterojunction structure having a first conductivity type lower cladding layer, an active layer and a second conductivity type upper cladding layer, formed in a first epitaxial growth process of AlGaInP series materials and a contact layer formed in a second or later epitaxial growth process. The contact layer is In.sub.x GA.sub.1-x As.sub.y P.sub.1-y which can be grown at a lower temperature than used in the first process. Therefore, deterioration in laser characteristics due to the diffusion of dopant impurities during the growth of contact layer can be prevented, resulting in a semiconductor laser device having high performance and long lifetime.

    摘要： A through anchor suitable for use in a seat belt system is disclosed. In use, the through anchor is mounted by way of a through bore formed in a fixing member arranged on a side of a vehicle body. The through anchor comprises a metal plate, a fixing bolt, a resin covering and an internally-threaded member. The metal plate defines therein a through hole and a webbing slot. The fixing bolt has a head portion, a threaded portion and a base portion. The resin covering is molded as an integral member on a surface of the head portion of the fixing bolt and a surface of the metal plate. The internally-threaded member has a cylindrical portion and a flange portion extending radially and outwardly from the cylindrical portion. In use, the internally-threaded member is threadedly mounted on the fixing bolt with the fixing member interposed therebetween, the cylindrical portion extends through the through bore and encloses therein the threaded portion of the fixing bolt, and the flange portion holds in place the fixing bolt relative to the direction of an axis of said fixing bolt.
