Abstract:
An automatic volume control to prevent the listener from having an odd sensation is obtained with a plurality of conditions taken into considerations. A plurality of control rules required to infer using fuzzy logic a volume correcting value on the basis of frequency band component levels, L, M and H and a volume level V are stored beforehand in a volume correcting value inferring portion 13. The volume correcting value inferring portion 13 obtains inference results of the individual control rules on the basis of the individual frequency band component levels L, M, H input from a filter circuit 12 and the volume level input from an audio reproducing portion 14, obtains a weighted mean of the respective inference results as a volume correcting value Z, and inputs the volume correcting value to the audio reproducing portion 14 to automatically correct the volume. Furthermore, since a degree with which each of the control rules is associated with volume correction differs, an adjustment coefficient corresponding to each of the degrees is stored beforehand. A weighted mean of the values obtained by multiplying the inference results of the control rules by the corresponding adjustment coefficients is the volume correcting value.
Abstract:
A sequential conversion-type A/D converter having a fixing bit register for identifying which bits of a sequential conversion register are to be fixed, a fixed value register for holding the binary values of the bits of the sequential conversion register to be fixed, and a conversion start position setting circuit for identifying a leading bit of the sequential conversion register as a bit of a lower order than the bits of said sequential conversion register to be fixed. The control circuit starts sequential conversion from the bit set by the conversion start position setting circuit. The invention achieves a sequential conversion type A/D converter which can convert, in a shorter period of time than the prior art, analog input signals showing small changes, without deteriorating conversion accuracy.
Abstract:
A multi-port RAM has a decoding portion for decoding a plurality of specific addresses for generating interruptions and a selection circuit for selecting some addresses from among the plurality of specific addresses. Since the plurality of addresses are selected for generating interruptions in parallel or in the sequence of time for each generation of an interruption, the data processing capability at the time of generation of interruptions can be improved.
Abstract:
A recording medium player apparatus including an open/close body which is disposed so as to openably cover a recording medium insertion slot formed in the front surface portion of a housing. The open/close body has an operation portion for controlling the operation of a play mechanism. The apparatus further includes a support member for pivotally supporting at a free end thereof the open/close body. A spring member constitutes a first driving mechanism for pivoting the support member. The spring member, a gear disposed on the support member, and a pair of fan-like gears which mesh with the gear disposed on the support member constitute a second driving mechanism for pivoting the open/close body relative to the support member in synchronism with the pivotal movement of the support member. This configuration enables the pivotal portion of the open/close body to be disposed at a rear surface portion of the open/close such that the pivotal portion is covered by the front panel portion of the open/close body when the open/close body is in a closed position.
Abstract:
A combination of an air cleaner for cleaning intake air to be inhaled by an internal combustion engine and a deceleration compensating air control valve for controlling supply of secondary air to the intake manifold of the engine during engine deceleration, wherein the deceleration compensating air control valve is mounted in the clean air space provided in the air cleaner casing at the inner side of an annular filtering element mounted in the air cleaner casing, or is mounted at the outside of the air cleaner casing, so that, in both cases, the air inlet port of the deceleration compensating air control valve is directly open to the clean air space.
Abstract:
Dual chips exchange a signal indicating a pressing load detected for providing the tactile sensation such that application process based on the pressing load is performed. A tactile sensation providing apparatus according to the present invention includes a touch sensor, a load detection unit configured to detect the pressing load on the touch sensor for providing the tactile sensation, a tactile sensation providing unit configured to vibrate a touch face of the touch sensor, a tactile sensation provision control unit configured to control drive of the tactile sensation providing unit, and a main control unit configured to control an application. The tactile sensation provision control unit transmits the pressing load to the main control unit. The main control unit, based on an output of the touch sensor and the pressing load received from the tactile sensation provision control unit, performs the application process.
Abstract:
A duplexer includes a transmitting filter including serial resonators and parallel resonators connected in a ladder configuration, and a receiving filter. A resonator of the serial resonators and the parallel resonators in the transmitting filter that is arranged closest to a common terminal of the transmitting filter and the transmitting filter includes a surface acoustic wave resonator, and at least one resonator excluding the resonator that is arranged closest to the common terminal includes a film bulk acoustic wave resonator.
Abstract:
An acoustic wave device includes resonator structures each including resonators arranged next to each other, and each of the resonator structures is excited in at least two vibration modes as the resonators thereof are coupled and resonate with each other. At least one of the resonator structures exhibits stronger resonance characteristics in one of the vibration modes than in the other vibration mode or modes within the filter band.
Abstract:
A light-transmissive member has a first principal face, a second principal face, and side faces. The first principal face has a first portion including a center of the first principal face and a second portion between the first portion and the side face sides. The member includes a plurality of altered portions formed between the first principal face and the second principal face so that the plurality of altered portions do not appear on the first principal face, the second principal face, and the side faces. Orthogonal projections of the plurality of altered portions onto the first principal face are included in the second portion.
