    摘要: In a fuel cell system 20 mounted on a fuel cell vehicle of the invention, water separated by a gas-liquid separator 38 included in a hydrogen supply system and by a gas-liquid separator 48 included in an air supply discharge system 40 is temporarily accumulated in buffer tanks 62a through 62c, which are set inside a front fender or inside a front bumper of the vehicle. The accumulated water is released from water outlets 64b and 64c located forward and backward a front wheel of the vehicle having relatively little potential effects of vehicle wind or air flow caused by motion of the vehicle. For the purpose of reducing the potential effects of the vehicle wind on the released water, the fuel cell vehicle may have an air flow path that makes the released water flown obliquely backward the vehicle by the air flow or form an air curtain of exhaust gas or the air ahead of the released water. This arrangement effectively restricts the released water from being scattered by and swirled on the vehicle wind and thereby prevents potential troubles such that the released water is scattered on other vehicles running on the side and behind.

    摘要: A light access can be integrally formed with a light guide on at least one end of the light guide. A printed circuit board with an LED lamp mounted thereon can be press-fitted in the light access for transient arrangement, and can be fixed by a cover. The position of the printed circuit board can be determined in relation to the light guide. For example, engagement hooks of the light access can be fitted with recesses in the printed circuit board for positioning the circuit board in a plane normal to the longitudinal direction of the light guide. Similarly, positioning ribs of the light guide can be employed for positioning in the longitudinal direction of the light guide. The light guide can be formed in an almost rod shape having four sides in section normal to the longitudinal direction of the light guide. A light guide lens can be formed in one surface and a diffuser cut can be formed in the opposite surface of the light guide.

    摘要: An apparatus for the domestic cogeneration of heat and electrical energy utilizing an inverted Brayton cycle gas turbine, a combustion chamber, an electrical generator and a compressor. Combustion air is preheated in a heat exchanger by gaseous combustion gases or exhaust gases exiting from the turbine. The combustion air is supplied at substantially atmospheric pressure to the combustion chamber where fuel is burned. The cooled gaseous combustion gases exiting from the heat exchanger are then fed to the compressor where they are recompressed to atmospheric pressure, and are finally used to heat the working fluid of a domestic heating system before being exhausted to the atmosphere. The apparatus can also include an acoustically and thermally insulated housing, an electric air blower for start-up, an engine ignition device, a frequency converter which conditions the electric generator output for connection to the main supply and a control system which is cooled by the engine intake air and which detects thermal and electrical demand and adjusts the engine power accordingly.

    摘要: In a hydraulic brake system of the type having a master cylinder, rear wheel brakes, an actuator disposed between the master cylinder and the rear wheel brakes for controlling the brake pressure increase to be applied to the rear wheel brakes in accordance with the skidding condition of a vehicle wheel, control apparatus for applying a brake pressure increase controlling signal to the actuator, a hydraulic brake booster for operating the master cylinder in accordance with the brake pedal depression, a pressure power source for supplying power pressure to the booster and having the actuating pressure for the hydraulic brake booster utilized as the actuating pressure for the actuator, the improvement comprises the inter-position of a regulating device between the booster and the actuator for increasing the output pressure at the same ratio as the input pressure while the actuating pressure is below a predetermined value and for increasing the output pressure at a smaller ratio than the input pressure when the input pressure gets above the predetermined value and a piston arrangement for opening an on-off valve of the actuator for controlling the communication between the master cylinder and the rear wheel brakes when the input pressure to the actuator, that is, the output pressure of the regulating device, is below a predetermined value to increase the output pressure of the actuator at the same ratio as the input pressure and for repeating the on-off movement of the on-off valve when the input pressure of the actuator is more than the predetermined value thereby increasing the output pressure of the actuator at a smaller ratio than the input pressure thereto.
