摘要: A power converter employing a magnetic device including a magnetic core and first and second tapped windings. Each winding of the magnetic device has first and second winding sections, respectively, coupled to the magnetic core, wherein the first and second winding sections are formed from a formed and folded planar conductive sheet. The magnetic core includes a common leg, a plurality of outer legs, and a top plate. The first and second winding sections are constructed with a formed and folded planar conductive sheet formed with structures usable as pins in a through-hole, surface-mount, or combined printed wiring board assembly process. The outer legs at either end of the magnetic core are positioned back from magnetic core ends, and the magnetic core is formed with a stepped structure to accommodate winding pins in a surface-mount printed wiring board assembly process.

摘要: The present invention discloses an abdominal CT image measuring apparatus and method. The abdominal CT image measuring apparatus includes: an interface unit; a part recognizing unit and a characteristic data computing unit. The present invention can determine the specific region of the part under test with a little amount of computation, by registration and subtraction operation on the two-phase scan images. This is easy to be carried out in computers, thus the computing speed of the characteristic data can be guaranteed and the efficiency can be improved. By the recognizing of the kidney regions and the abdominal aorta region in the present invention, the glomerular filtration rates obtained by applying the key concept of the present invention to the image measuring of glomerular filtration rate can meet the clinical application requirements in both precision and speed.

摘要: The present invention provides a method of scheduling packet in a wireless telecommunication system, in which the user packet queues to be transmitted are divided into the user packet queues with lost packet and the user packet queues without lost packet; for the user packet queues with lost packet, if a real time lost ratio of packet for the user excesses a predetermined lost ratio threshold of packet, terminate a connection to the user; if the real time lost ratio of packet for the user does not excess the predetermined lost ratio threshold of packet, schedule the user packet queues according to a volume of the lost ratio of packet; for the user packet queues without lost packet, schedule according to packet lengths, channel quality states, time delays and time delay jitters. The present invention decreases the packet lost ratio by giving priority to scheduling users with high packet lost ratio under the condition of existing a certain extent of packet lost, takes the requirements of user packet service sensitive to the time delay jitter into full consideration, and controls the time delay jitter to maintain invariable, therefore improves the telecommunication quality of those users.

摘要: The presently claimed and disclosed invention relates, in general, to three dimensional micro-environments and, in particular, to three dimensional (“3D”) micro-environments found in inverted-opal scaffolds made from hydrogel therein for controlled release of nutrients. Specifically, the scaffolds have exceptionally ordered, three-dimensional organization that provides excellent porosity, permeability, and transportation properties can that are especially well suited for use as a nutrient carrier in the emerging technologies of drug delivery and cell culture. Methods for incorporation of or to control the release of nutrients and other substances from such scaffold materials are also herein disclosed and claimed.
