摘要: A control section starts cranking of an engine with a first opening degree upon detection of a first operation signal, and, if the engine has reached a predetermined number of rotations through a predetermined number of times of the cranking with the first opening degree, the control section starts running of the engine in a first mode corresponding to the first opening degree. If the engine has not reached the predetermined number of rotations through the predetermined number of times of the cranking with the first opening degree, the control section starts cranking with a second opening degree, and, if the engine has reached the predetermined number of rotations through the predetermined number of times of the cranking with the second opening degree, the control section starts running of the engine in a second mode corresponding to the second opening degree.

摘要: Helicobacter pylori strains are indigenous to each human host and infect and colonize in the stomach of the host, and they are also known to be involved in diseases of the upper gastrointestinal tracts, among others. The present invention provides an economical method for inhibiting the proliferation and migration of Helicobacter pylori strains without being concerned about emergence of resistant bacteria or side effects due to drugs traditionally used to remove Helicobacter pylori strains, as well as a beverage or food utilizing such method, by selecting from among mineral-rich waters obtained from deep sea water, and by ingesting, a water or waters capable of inhibiting the proliferation and migration of Helicobacter pylori strains that are indigenous to the host and infecting and colonized in the stomach of the host.

摘要: A liquid crystal display device is structured in such a manner that plural of liquid crystal display panels each comprised of a liquid crystal layer provided between a pair of transparent substrates which have electrodes disposed on each facing inner surface, and a reflection-type polarizing film is disposed at least on the top surface of the plural liquid crystal display panel, or between the liquid crystal display panels, or on the lowest surface of the plural liquid crystal display panel. By controlling a reflection state and a transmission state through the reflection-type polarizing film with electric voltage applied on the liquid crystal layer of the liquid crystal display panel, a display which represents the opening and closing of a metallic shutter is made possible.

摘要: A centrifugal compressor has a diffuser with stator blades arranged therein for converting the kinetic energy of a fluid discharged from an impeller into a pressure energy. The stator blades have leading edges inclined in the downstream direction while extending away from a side plate toward a core plate. Auxiliary blades having a chord length shorter than that of each of the stator blades have leading edges inclined in the downstream direction while extending away from the side plate toward the core plate and are arranged at positions radially inward of the stator plates in such a manner that one of the surfaces of each of the auxiliary blades faces a stator blade. The compressor is capable of operating without suffering from surging and rotating stall even in a low flow rate region.
