An electromagnetic fuel injection valve comprises a valve body, a valve seat which cooperates with the valve body, a fuel injection port disposed downstream of the valve seat, and a dividing device which serves to divide injection fuel injected from the fuel injection port. The dividing device is formed integrally with a member in which the fuel injection port is formed and includes parallel walls substantially parallel to each other with the fuel injection port interposed therebetween and arcuate walls connected to the parallel walls having a diameter larger than that of the fuel injection port. The walls extend from said member in a direction of an axis of the valve. The dividing device has an outer diameter substantially equal to the largest diameter of the valve seat.

An electromagnetic fuel injector comprising: a movable member with a valve body provided at one end and an armature made of a magnetic material provided at the other end; a cylindrical core made of a magnetic material, the core being disposed in such a manner that the distal end thereof opposes the armature; an electromagnetic coil disposed around the cylindrical core for producing an electromagnetic force between the cylindrical core and the armature when the coil is energized; and guide sections for guiding the movement of the movable member in the axial direction, the guide sections being disposed in the vicinities of the valve body and the armature of the movable member. The guide section provided in the vicinity of the armature comprises a sliding member made of a non-magnetic material and disposed between the armature and the core. The colliding surface of the core and the armature is coated with a nickel layer which serves as an impact absorbing layer and a chromium oxide layer which serves as a surface hardening layer. A seal ring is provided between the outer periphery of a plug portion of the core and the inner periphery of a casing. The yoke is coupled to the core at a location which is closer to a fuel outlet from the seal ring.

A valve structure which works easily, does not increase production cost, can reduce dispersion in a side gap by restricting eccentricity and incline of a valve body and can maintain highly accurate injection. An electromagnetic fuel injection valve is required which is easy to manufacture even in a narrow valve structure. A guide portion is provided having one end fixed to an injection valve main body for guiding the valve member. A nozzle guide body constituting a magnetic passage portion to surround a magnetic member connected and fixed to one end of the valve member by the same material is provided. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce dispersion of a side gap constituting the magnetic passage, and it is also possible to stabilize an axial motion of the valve member, whereby high injection accuracy is maintained and an inexpensive injection valve is obtained.

There is required a valve structure which can be easily worked, does not increase a producing cost, can reduce a dispersion in a side gap by restricting an eccentricity and an incline of a valve body and can maintain an injection accuracy high. In particular, there is required an electromagnetic fuel injection valve which is advantageous in view of production even in a narrow valve structure. In the electromagnetic fuel injection valve, at least one guide portion having one end fixed to an injection valve main body and guiding an axial sliding motion of the valve member in the inner portion is provided, and a nozzle guide body constituting a magnetic passage portion formed so as to surround a magnetic member connected and fixed to one end of the valve member by the same material is provided. Accordingly, it is possible to reduce a dispersion of a side gap constituting the magnetic passage, and it is possible to stabilize an axial motion of the valve member, whereby an injection accuracy is maintained high and an inexpensive injection valve is obtained.
