摘要: Devices, systems and methods are disclosed for the formation of an arteriovenous fistula in the limb of the patient. Embodiments include a device for the creation, modification and maintenance of a fistula that includes an integral fistula creation assembly near its distal end that passes through the skin of the patient, through a first vessel such as an artery, and into a second vessel such as a vein. The fistula creation assembly preferably includes an anastomotic implant that is placed within the fistula to maintain long-term blood flow therethrough. The devices, systems and methods can be used to treat patients with one or more numerous ailments including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, congestive heart failure, hypertension, hypotension, respiratory failure, pulmonary arterial hypertension, lung fibrosis and adult respiratory distress syndrome.

摘要: The present invention relates to clips and, specifically, to endoscopic clips. Clips of the present invention comprise a rail, a proximal prong, and a distal prong. Clips of the present invention comprise multiple sequentially deployed folding prongs, which may deploy in a substantially perpendicular manner by rotating from a folded position flush with a rail to about a 90° angle relative to the rail. The proximal prong may be both rotatable and longitudinally slidable relative to the rail. The distal prong may be rotatable relative to the rail. Folded clips of the present invention may be delivered to a target site within a sheath. The sheath may be retracted from the folded clips to permit deployment and the sheath end may be subsequently used to push the longitudinally slidable proximal prong towards the distal prong for clamping. The clip is releasable, and may be released from a latch wire.

摘要: Hemostatic clips, clip appliers, and applications thereof, for ligating bodily organs or tissues in a subject. Clip and clip appliers structurally conform to various thicknesses of bodily organs or tissues. The hemostatic clip includes opposing first and second clip arms connected at a shared elastic normally-opened joint portion. Clip arms include outer and inner members having tissue contacting surfaces, and gaps, for elastically deforming or/and shifting, to apply compression and clamping forces to bodily organ or tissue. Clip includes locking mechanism for locking clip arms together. Distal and proximal end portions may freely extend from a first arm joining portion. Clip includes interconnecting mechanism for sequentially chaining lengthwise multiple clips. Clip may include inner clip arm member with distal and proximal end portions freely extending from single arm joining portion. Also disclosed are clip appliers for deploying hemostatic clips, and methods employing hemostatic clips, for ligating bodily organs or tissue.

摘要: Cardiac repair prostheses, sets, and methods for implanting in an aorta are disclosed. Cardiac repair prosthesis sets can include a radially expandable support supporting a unidirectional valve that is configured for implantation into the aortic valve region of a patient and a second radially expandable support for a substantially blood impervious stent having a size and shape for implantation into the ascending aorta of said patient where the unidirectional valve and stent are configured for integration within the patient by at least one joining element. 摘要: Steering engagement catheter devices, systems, and methods of using the same for accessing a tissue, including internal and external tissues of a heart, are disclosed.
