摘要: Disclosed is a Hybrid Remote Access Device (HRAD) for facilitating a user to remotely access a remote device from a user device. Initially, the HRAD transmits an access request, received from a user device, to the remote device. Upon transmitting the access request, the HRAD forwards an acknowledgment message to the user device upon receipt of the acknowledgment message from the remote device. After forwarding the acknowledgement message, the HRAD receives at least one of an audio-visual request and a control command from the user device. Subsequently, the HRAD transmits the stream of audio-visual input, being captured, to the user device, when the audio-visual request is received from the user device. The HRAD further performs an output action on the remote device, when the control command is received from the user device.

The system and method provides software for the entity-specific image capture devices that causes the image capture devices to transmit entity ID information when the image capture devices transmit images over the Internet. The system and method further provide an online photosharing service capable of hosting the entity-specific photo-sharing websites for each of the entities, such that when the image capture devices connect to photo-sharing service, the photo-sharing service uses the entity ID received from the image capture devices to automatically associate the image with the photo-sharing websites of the identified entity.

摘要: A lighting device includes a light source, an image sensor, a controller, a memory, and a wireless transceiver. The light source is configured to emit light for general illumination. The image sensor is configured to acquire an image of an area illuminated by the light source. The controller is coupled to control the image sensor and to receive the acquired image of the illuminated area from the image sensor. The controller is configured to operate the wireless transceiver to receive identification information from a wireless device in the illuminated area. The controller is further configured to automatically generate a visual signature based on image information of a person or object, obtained from the image of the illuminated area. The controller also is configured to store the visual signature of the person or object in the memory in association with the wireless device identification information.

摘要: Disclosed is an autonomous distributed system for detecting and tracking a falling object within a region being monitored by using a plurality of camera assemblies cooperating with each other, and disclosed is a camera assembly therefor. Each of the camera assembly, normally, operates in a falling object detecting mode, but, when detecting a falling object, shifts to a tracking mode. In the tracking mode, a degree of danger of the falling object is determined by referring to the size of the falling object in real space and the movement of a falling. In addition, when the falling object is further tracked and moved outside of the angle of view, a search request including information of the degree of danger as to the falling object is issued to surrounding camera assemblies, such that the multiple camera assemblies search for the falling object in cooperation.
