    摘要: Several million television receive antennas installed on roof tops in the US and around the world. A method is disclosed that uses each of the millions of television receive antennas as transmitters to provide high speed wireless mobile and broadband infrastructure to send and receive internet, data, audio, video, at user locations and communication between devices and sensors securely. This is the first converged broadcast and broadband interactive wireless infrastructure utilizing the television as an interface for applications such as financial transactions, home-to-home interconnection, environmental, energy management (smart meters), social networking, streaming, gaming, and security management. A personal server connects to a television receiver and antenna which connects among them wirelessly and connect to a broadcasting site server and an electric-substation server. The invention creates wireless cloud eliminating the need of a personal computer. The method overcomes the problem of interference whist preserving latency, synchronization, and time accuracy.

    摘要: Panoramic and spherical cameras often currently capture respective portions of a scene using a set of lenses that focus images on imagers for sampling by photosensitive elements. Because the images are often circular and imagers are often rectangular, the orientation of the lenses may be selected as a tradeoff between capturing capture the entire image while leaving unused portions of the imager, and maximizing imager coverage to increase resolution while creating cropped image portions that extend beyond the edges of the imager. The techniques presented herein involve displacing the image from the imager center in order to increase a first cropped area and reduce or eliminate a second cropped area. The lenses may also be oriented such that the first cropped area comprises a portion of the composite image that may be acceptable to omit from the composite image (e.g., the user's hand or a camera mounting apparatus).

    摘要: A decoding method of selecting a value for a video parameter based on a portion of video data encoded in a video bitstream. The method receives the portion of encoded video data from the video bitstream and determines an aggregate value based on the received portion of the video data. The method determines a remainder by dividing the aggregate value with a predetermined value and then selects a value for the video parameter from a set of predefined values according to a mapping from the determined remainder, wherein the mapping has at least a plurality of values for a remainder corresponding to a single value for the video parameter. Associated methods for encoding are also disclosed.
