    摘要: It is taken advantage of the possibility to locate a wireless telecommunications device when being active inside a cellular telecommunications system i.e. in which cell it can just be found. Moreover, to each different cell covered each one by a base station is affected a certain number of specific terminals. The present invention is then based on an automatic transferring of a process command activated by an user on his wireless telecommunications device toward a terminal nearby in this same cell. This transfer transits via a PBX which administers all the base stations of that cellular telecommunications system and which is connected possibly via a computer to a network made of those terminals. The PBX will forward that process command with the supplementary information telling in which cell of the cellular telecommunications system this process command was received. With that information, the computer which administers all the terminals of the network, will be able to transfer that process command to a terminal located in the same cell as the wireless telecommunications device at the time that process command was generated on it and on which this process command like a print or a view will be performed.

    摘要: A bus connection controller in a voice processing is for managing the connection of a timeslot on a time-division multiplex (TDM) bus to a port on an adapter. The voice processing system includes basic time-division multiplex (TDM) connection management to enable the coordination of connections between resources such as channels on line cards (SPacks or VPacks), and channels on digital signal processor (DSPs) cards that provide, amongst others things, voice recognition, text-to-speech, fax capabilities and so on. Problems are encountered when a telephone call in a voice processing system ends suddenly because one of the callers hangs up. If the telephony channel has connections with other channels or resources via a TDM bus, callers may hear spurious data. To address this problem each call is associated with its corresponding connection on the TDM bus and each connection is associated with its connection details including the adapters and ports involved in connecting the calls. When one of the calls ends all the relevant ports involved with the connection are immediately disconnected.

    摘要: A system and method for reducing signal attenuation of integrated services digital network (ISDN) digital transmissions at the subscriber loop, thereby increasing the available subscriber loop range, is provided. An ISDN digital transmission system is used for transmitting and receiving digital information via a line termination at a central office. Customer premises equipment is coupled to a network termination (NT-1) within the customer premises, which is in turn coupled to interface the line termination at the central office. A plurality of inductive load coils are coupled in series with the two-wire subscriber loop ISDN BRI at predetermined distance intervals, which are calibrated to resonate the two-wire bus.

    摘要: Apparatus for efficiently routing facsimiles to and from a plurality of facsimile devices (62,64,66). At least one BRI line (16) is coupled to several ISDN terminals (21-28). At least one multiplexer (31,32) is coupled to the outputs of the terminals (21-28). A fax server (50) is coupled to the outputs of the multiplexers (31,32), typically via fax process computers (41,42). Coupled to the fax server (50) are a plurality of facsimile devices (62,64,66), each having a unique fax number. A given facsimile device (62,64,66) may send or receive more than one facsimile simultaneously by means of programming its fax number into more than one terminal (21-28) address. A terminal (21-28) may be coupled to more than one multiplexer (31,32). Multiple BRI lines (16) may be used. The fax server (50) preferably contains an incoming generic module (51) that interacts with all incoming facsimiles, an incoming specific module (53) that interacts with facsimiles destined for selected ones of the facsimile devices (62,64,66), an outgoing generic module (52) that interacts with all outgoing facsimiles, and an outgoing specific module (54) that interacts with outgoing facsimiles that emanate from selected ones of the facsimile devices (62,64,66).
