    摘要: The communication system includes a trunk line constituted of first and second signal lines for transmitting differential signals, a plurality of branch lines each branching from the trunk line and connected with a node, and at least one reflection prevention circuit connected between the first and second signal lines. The reflection prevention circuit includes a rectifier circuit configured to inhibit a current from flowing between the first and second signal lines when a voltage between the differential signals is smaller than or equal to a predetermined voltage, and allow a current to flow between the first and second signal lines when the voltage between the differential signals is larger than the predetermined voltage, and a resistive element connected in series to the rectifier circuit between the first and second signal lines.

    摘要: Disclosed is an impedance adjustment circuit including a comparator and a resistor control circuit. The comparator compares the resistance value of an external resistor and that of a replica resistor that forms a replica of a terminal resistor. The resistor control circuit includes a replica resistor control counter, a resistor-under-adjustment control signal holding circuit and a monitor circuit. The replica resistor control counter counts up and down based on the comparison result by the comparator to output a control signal to the replica resistor. The resistor-under-adjustment control signal holding circuit holds a control signal that is delivered to the terminal resistor. The monitor circuit receives the state of the counter and an output of the retention circuit and, in case the difference between the count state of the replica resistor control counter and an output of the resistor-under-adjustment control signal holding circuit is within a preset range, delivers the output of the resistor-under-adjustment control signal holding circuit as an input to the resistor-under-adjustment control signal holding circuit.

    摘要: In a switch semiconductor integrated circuit, a switch for high frequency signal is constituted by four field-effect transistor stages connected in series to the first to fourth signal paths arranged in a ring shape and two field-effect transistor stages connected which are in a shunt position with respect to the signal paths such that two signal paths are positioned between two field-effect stages which are opposite to each other. At this time, the same voltage is impressed to the signal paths which are in a position opposite to each other among four signal paths, and the control voltage which are complementary to each other is impressed to the adjacent signal paths. Therefore, the number of field-effect transistor stages connected in a shunt position with respect to the signal paths and the number of control lines necessary to control the switching control can be reduced comparing to a conventional one; thus a small-sized switch semiconductor integrated circuit can be realized comparing to a conventional switch.

    摘要: A gallium arsenide isolator has a common gate FET for amplifying a microw signal, the common gate FET being connected to a common drain FET for transmitting the microwave signal and for isolating the common gate FET from signals travelling in a direction opposite to the microwave signal. One or more L-C networks are connected at one end between the input and output of the isolator and at the other end to ground. The circulator includes three arms each having a gallium arsenide isolator. Each of the arms is coupled to another one of the arms by means of a four port coupler which permits transmission of a signal from one port to a second diagonally opposite port, the third port receiving a fixed fraction of the power and the fourth port receiving effectively no power.
