Abstract:
The present invention provides polypeptides, peptide dimer, and multimeric complexes comprising at least one binding moiety for KDR or VEGF/KDR complex, which have a variety of uses wherever treating, detecting, isolating or localizing angiogenesis is advantageous. Particularly disclosed are synthetic, isolated polypeptides capable of binding KDR or VEGF/KDR complex with high affinity (e.g., having a KD
Abstract:
It is an object of the present invention to provide novel binding molecules for factor VIII and factor VIII-like proteins. Preferred binding molecules of the present invention exhibit not only distinct characteristics for binding of the target factor VIII polypeptides but also specific and desirable characteristics for release (elution) of the target polypeptides. Especially preferred binding molecules according to the invention are short polypeptide sequences, characterized by a stable loop structure.
Abstract:
Disclosed are methods for identifying desired members from a display libraries, including bacteriophage display libraries. Display library members can be amplified in the presence of a target compound so that cycles of selection can be rapidly completed.
Abstract:
Focused libraries of vectors or genetic packages that display, display and express, or comprise a member of a diverse family of antibody peptides, polypeptides or proteins and collectively display, display and express, or comprise at least a portion of the focused diversity of the family. The libraries have length and sequence diversities that mimic that found in native human antibodies.
Abstract:
Disclosed are methods and compositions useful, e.g., for controlling the valency of display proteins during display library screenings and selections. In one embodiment, they are applicable to phage and phage libraries that are based on bacteriophage, e.g., filamentous bacteriophage.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides immunoassay methods of detecting a cleaved high molecular weight kininogen (HMWK) with high sensitivity and specificity and isolated antibodies that specifically bind cleaved HMWK.
Abstract:
Methods for differentiating full-length high molecular weight kininogen (HMWK) and cleaved HMWK in a sample are provided herein. Such methods may comprise treating a biological sample with a protease to generate a plurality of digested peptides, and measuring one or more signature peptides, which are indicative of cleaved HMWK and/or full-length HMWK.
Abstract:
Methods for quantitation of fC1-INH from dried blood spot are provided herein. Such methods may comprise spotting and drying a blood sample on a support member, extracting protein from the dried blood sample and measuring the level of fC1-INH in the extracted proteins.
