摘要: In an autofocus method, an electron beam is scanned onto a subject through a condensing member. A setting condition of the condensing member is changed within a first range. An image evaluation value is measured using a secondary electron current from the subject according to the setting condition within the first range. A second range adjacent to the first range and including the setting condition corresponding to the first maximum is set when a first maximum of the image evaluation value is not a peak value. The setting condition is changed within the second range. An image evaluation value is measured using a secondary electron current according to the setting condition within the second range. The condensing member is set with the setting condition corresponding to a second maximum of the image evaluation value when the second maximum value is the peak value.

摘要: Provided are a method and apparatus for measuring body fat using current electrodes and voltage electrodes. The method includes continually detecting a voltage drop across the voltage electrodes by smoothly raising a contact pressure applied to the electrodes; determining a threshold contact pressure with reference to the detected voltage drop depending on variation of the contact pressure, the voltage drop across the voltage electrodes not increasing under the threshold contact pressure even when the contact pressure increases; comparing a detected contact pressure with the threshold contact pressure; detecting a measurement voltage across the voltage electrodes only when the detected contact pressure is larger than the threshold contact pressure; and compensating the measurement voltage for a threshold contact voltage corresponding to the threshold contact pressure and calculating a body fat value corresponding to the compensated measurement voltage.

摘要: Integrated circuit memory devices include sense amplifier arrays having layouts that are configured to support greater pitch between adjacent input/output lines, while maintaining high levels of integration density. A sense amplifier array is provided having first and second column select I/O blocks that are arranged in an alternating zig-zag layout sequence, with the first column select I/O blocks positioned in a first row of the sense amplifier array and the second column select I/O blocks positioned in a second row of the sense amplifier array. The sense amplifier array also includes an alternating zig-zag layout sequence of first and second N-type (or P-type) sense amplifier blocks that extends back-and-forth between the first and second rows. The zig-zag layout sequence of sense amplifier blocks is interleaved with the zig-zag layout sequence of the column select I/O blocks.

摘要: A semiconductor wafer includes a plurality of chip areas having circuit elements, a scribe line area for defining the chip areas, and a plurality of test element group (TEG) modules. The TEG modules are group formed on the scribe line area. Each of the TEG modules has test transistors, a common source pad, and a common body pad. A global gate pad is commonly connected to gates of test transistors in the test element group modules. Global drain pads are shared by respective test transistors in the TEG modules. In other words, each drain pad is commonly connected to corresponding drains of test transistor in at least two TEG modules such that a drain pad is shared by plural TEG modules, considerably reducing an area occupied by each TEG module.

摘要: A semiconductor integrated circuit includes a sense amplifier for amplifying an input signal and a complement of the input signal. The sense amplifier includes cross-coupled transistors. Each unique cross-coupled transistor is coupled to a corresponding unique transistor formed as a diode. A resistor is coupled in series between one cross-coupled resistor and an input port receiving the input signal, and another resistor is coupled in series between the other cross-coupled transistor and another input port receiving the complement of the input signal. Resistances associated with the sources of each cross-coupled transistor provide the resistance of the resistors.
