摘要: An imaging device includes a first pixel and a second pixel. The first pixel includes a first photoelectric converter that generates first signal charge by photoelectric conversion and that has sensitivity to a first wavelength range that is invisible and a first signal detection circuit connected to the first photoelectric converter. The second pixel includes a second photoelectric converter that generates second signal charge by photoelectric conversion and that has sensitivity to a second wavelength range and a second signal detection circuit connected to the second photoelectric converter. An exposure period of the second photoelectric converter does not overlap a light-emitting period of light based on lighting, the light being incident on the first photoelectric converter and having a luminescence peak in the first wavelength range. A readout period during which the second signal detection circuit reads out the second signal charge does not overlap the light-emitting period.

摘要: A method for connecting an optical waveguide includes: adjusting an inclination of an optical fiber block with respect to substrate (10), the optical fiber block including through-passage (34), and the substrate including spacer (60) surrounding light input part (12), by holding and bringing optical fiber block (20) into contact with the spacer, and then releasing the optical fiber block; supplying adhesive (70) to outside of the spacer on the substrate; aligning the optical fiber block holding an optical fiber, with respect to the light input part, to maximize intensity of light output from the substrate; compressing the spacer by pushing the optical fiber block including the through-passage toward the substrate; and curing the adhesive, with the spacer compressed.

摘要: An optical device includes a first light source that emits first light, a second light source that emits second light, first and second polarizing beam splitters, a dichroic mirror, a quarter-wave plate that changes the polarization state of light that passes through, a hyperspectral camera, and a visible light camera. The first polarizing beam splitter, the quarter-wave plate, and the dichroic mirror are disposed in an optical path of the first light in stated order. The second polarizing beam splitter and the dichroic mirror are disposed in an optical path of the second light in stated order. The hyperspectral camera receives first specularly reflected light out of first reflected light. The visible light camera receives second diffused light out of second reflected light.

摘要: This projection display device includes: a light source unit emitting a white light along a first optical axis; a lighting unit provided on a second optical axis, the lighting unit splitting the white light into predetermined color lights and uniformizing an illuminance distribution of the predetermined color lights; an image generator including a display element modulating the predetermined color lights, and a projection lens projecting an image light including the predetermined color lights modulated along a third optical axis; at least one optical path switching unit selectively switching between reflection and transmission of the white light; a light diffuser including a diffusion optical system spreading the white light to a desired illumination area and projecting the spread white light as an illumination light; and a controller causing the at least one optical path switching unit to switch between emission of the image light and emission of the illumination light.
