    Abstract: A light source module and a LGP are provided, the light source module includes the LGP, a light source and an optical film. The LGP includes a bottom surface, a light-emitting surface, a light incident surface and a reflection surface. A projection of the reflection surface on the light-emitting surface has an arc shape. The optical film is disposed on the light-emitting surface, and includes a plurality of prism columns in arrangement. The bottom surface has a plurality of microstructures, and each microstructure has a first surface and a second surface. The first surface is closer to the light incident surface compared to the second surface, and an included angle between the first surface and the bottom surface ranges between 1 and 10 degrees. The light source module of the invention effectively narrows horizontal and vertical viewing angles, and light and slim tendency of the light source module is satisfied.

    Abstract: A spotlight and a converging lens are provided. The converging lens has a light-emitting surface and a light incidence surface. An outer diameter of the converging lens is progressively decreased from the light-emitting surface toward the light incidence surface. The light-emitting surface has an opening. A maximum distance between the light incidence surface and the light-emitting surface along a thickness direction of the converging lens is H1, a maximum distance between a bottom surface of the opening and the light incidence surface along the thickness direction is H2, and 0.3×H1≦H2≦0.5×H1. The light incidence surface has at least one annular groove. The at least one annular groove has a central axis. The converging lens of the invention may converge light beam and mitigate a light spill phenomenon, and the spotlight applying the converging lens has good lighting quality.

    Abstract: A backlight module includes a first surface light source assembly, a second surface light source assembly disposed above the first surface light source assembly, a first optical film disposed above the second surface light source assembly and including a plurality of prisms arranged along a first direction, and a light filter element disposed between the first and second surface light source assemblies. Both of the first surface light source assembly and the second surface light source assembly include a light emitting unit and a light guide plate. Each prism has a tip end facing the second surface light source assembly. The light filter element is configured to allow an incident light ray within a predetermined range of incident angle to pass therethrough. The backlight module can be switched between a narrow viewing angle mode and a wide viewing angle mode. Related driving method and display apparatus are also provided.

    Abstract: An optical module and a light source are provided. The light source includes a circuit board, a plurality of light-emitting element chips, a plurality of total reflection elements, an encapsulant, and a plurality of optical wavelength conversion particles. The light-emitting element chips are disposed on the circuit board. Each of the light-emitting element chips is adapted to emit a light beam. The total reflection elements are disposed on the circuit board. Each of the total reflection elements is configured adjacent to one of the light-emitting element chips, a partial light beam of the light beam emitted by the one of the light-emitting element chips enters the total reflection element, and is transmitted in the total reflection element, and emits out from the total reflection element. The encapsulant covers the light-emitting element chips and the total reflection elements. The optical wavelength conversion particles are distributed in the encapsulant.

    Abstract: A display apparatus including a display device having a display area and a frame area surrounding the display area, a prism module and a transparent element is provided. The corner regions of the frame are adjacent to the corners of the display area respectively. The prism module includes at least one corner prism set disposed on at least one of the corner regions. The transparent element is disposed between the display device and the prism module, and covers the corner regions. The transparent element includes a light entering surface facing the display device, a light exiting surface, and a plurality of side surfaces connected with the light entering surface and the light exiting surface. At least one of the side surfaces located in the corner regions is an inclined surface. The light entering surface connected to the inclined surface is retracted in a direction toward the display area.

The light guide component is disposed in the casing and has a light incident end and a light emitting end. Another part of the light beam is illuminated toward the light incident end from the side surface, and is illuminated out of the casing from the light emitting end after being transmitted in the light guide component.
