    Abstract: Provided are a top cover assembly and a secondary battery containing the same. The top cover assembly includes a cover plate, and a first terminal assembly; the top cover plate includes a main body and a protrusion connected to the main body, the protrusion protrudes beyond an upper surface of the main body, an accommodation chamber is defined below the protrusion, the protrusion faces the accommodation chamber, the first terminal assembly includes a deformable plate, and the deformable plate is connected to the top cover plate and covers the accommodation chamber. Such solution can sufficiently utilize the space between the upper surface of the top cover plate and the upper surface of the second terminal assembly, improve the space utilization of the secondary battery, improve the deformation resistance of the top cover plate and the strength of the top cover plate, and keep the secondary battery safe.

    Abstract: A top cap structure for a power battery is provided. The power battery top cap structure includes a first and second electrode assemblies, and a top cap piece. The first electrode assembly includes a first electrode column having an upper and lower sections, a first seal member and a first connection block. The upper section and the first connection block are formed from a first base metal. The lower section is formed from a second base metal different from the first base metal. The upper section includes a step portion, and the lower section is joined with a bottom surface of the upper section below the top cap piece. The first seal member includes a horizontal extending portion. The horizontal extending portion is disposed between a lower surface of the top cap piece and the step portion. The top portion of the upper section connects with the first connection block.

    Abstract: A battery cell, a battery, an electricity consuming device and a preparation method are provided. The battery cell includes an electrode assembly and an adapter. The electrode assembly includes at least two electrode bodies arranged side by side along a first direction and tabs extending from the electrode bodies. The tab includes an extension portion and a bent portion, the extension portion extends from the electrode body along a second direction, the bent portion is connected with an end of the extension portion away from the electrode body and extends along a first direction, an adapter is connected with the tabs, the current of the electrode body is conducted by the adapter to the outside, a bending arrangement of the tabs enhances their structural strength, avoiding the problem of degradation in internal electrical connection performance of the battery due to damage to the tabs by an external force.
