    摘要: Provided are an ARQ apparatus and method for a multihop system in a broadband wireless access communication system. The ARQ method of a relay includes determining if the relay successfully receives specific data from a source and transmitting the specific data to a destination; receiving feedback data from the destination and determining if the destination successfully receives the specific data; generating feedback data including data indicating if the relay and the destination successfully receive the specific data, and outputting the feedback data to the source; and retransmitting the specific data, when the relay successfully receives the specific data but the destination fails to receive the specific data. Accordingly, when the MH-BTS successfully receives the data from the source but the destination fails to receive the data, the source does not retransmit same data to the MH-BTS.

    摘要: An method and apparatus for transmitting ranging information from at least one base station to subscriber stations and generating a ranging signal by the subscriber station using received ranging information in a Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) communication system including a plurality of neighbor cells and a plurality of the subscriber stations located in each cell region. A first code generator generates a first code using different first code information received from the base stations in the neighbor cells allocated the first code information.     摘要: A closed-loop multi-antenna system and method thereof are provided. A transmitter includes a feedback information processor and a first transmit unit. A receiver includes a channel estimator, a feedback information generator and a second transmit unit. The feedback information processor receives feedback information from the receiver, calculates each of a sum rate in a multi-user mode and a sum rate in a single-user mode using the feedback information, and selects one of the single-user mode and the multi-user mode as a transmission mode depending on a comparison result between the sum rate in the multi-user mode and the sum rate in the single-user mode. The channel estimator acquires channel quality information (CQI) for each data stream transmitted individually via each antenna group. The feedback information generator determines the CQI associated information from the CQI acquired individually for each antenna group corresponding to the transmission mode.
