摘要: A switching device making it possible to manipulate a computer, which is installed on a local side, at a remote-control side over networks has a remote manipulation notification unit. When the computer is manipulated at the remote-control side, the remote manipulation notification unit notifies the local side, on which the computer is installed, of the manipulation of the computer performed at the remote-control side.

摘要: With this position measurement method, a mark which has been formed upon an object is illuminated with an illumination beam, a beam which is generated from this mark is picked up via an observation system, and the resultant image signal is signal processed so as to measure positional information which is related to the mark. This signal processing is performed based upon information related to the noise which is included in the component dependent upon the amount of light which is included in the image signal, and upon said image signal. As a result, it is possible to measure the positional information for the mark with good accuracy, even if noise is included in the image signal.

摘要: A non-asbestos friction material made by molding and curing a composition comprised of a fibrous base, a binder, and a filler has a 100 Hz vibration damping factor (tan &dgr;) at 300° C. minus tan &dgr; at 50° C. value of at least −0.030. The binder may be a rubber-modified high-ortho phenolic resin, a resin mixture of a rubber-modified high-ortho phenolic resin and a rubber-modified phenolic resin, or a resin mixture of two or more rubber-modified phenolic resins. The friction material has an excellent and long-lasting noise performance, and good wear resistance, functional stability, and fade resistance. The rapid curability of the composition enables a short molding cycle.

摘要: A projection exposure apparatus is provided which prevents a deterioration in alignment accuracy even if a deviation of the optical axis occurs with projection magnification adjustment of a projection optical system. After the projection magnification of a projection optical system is adjusted based on measurement results of marks formed on a substrate mounted on a substrate stage, the substrate is exposed by a predetermined pattern via the projection optical system. Information related to an imaging position of the projection optical system is measured after adjustment of the projection magnification and before exposure of the substrate.

摘要: An exposure apparatus for accurately and quickly transferring mask patterns to a substrate on which a plurality of pattern layers are formed, and a method of manufacturing microdevices that uses the exposure apparatus. A wafer mark (or substitute wafer mark ) of a gate electrode layer and a wafer mark of a second interlayer insulating layer are formed on a street line of a wafer. Mark bars WMnm (n=1, 2, M−1 to 4) of the wafer marks are alternately arranged, and combined marks are formed. The combined marks are simultaneously detected with an alignment system, and positional information of the wafer marks is computed based on the detection results. Then, the circuit patterns on a reticle are aligned with a shot region on the wafer based on the computed positional information.

摘要: A device for stabilized opening and closing of a sliding panel includes a gear-like driving roller made of synthetic resin and provided with a number of low profile teeth arranged with a fin and constant pitch. The driving roller is arranged on the inside of the device and a pinch roller is arranged on the outside of the device in juxtaposition with the driving roller. A rack-like plate made of synthetic resin and arranged horizontally all the way along on the inner side wall of a sliding panel is engaged with and driven by the driving roller. A biasing device arranged at least on one of the driving roller or the pinch roller biasing it toward the sliding panel.

摘要: An IDC type multi-conductor cable connector and method for assembling cable thereto. The cable connector has a plurality of contact terminals mounted in respective holes in a housing having a plurality of holes. The contact terminals each has a contact part provided at one end and an IDC type connection part provided at the other end thereof. The connector has means for temporarily holding the contact terminals in a position where the connection part of each terminal is exposed. The connector can be transported or delivered from the vendor in this state. A cable is assembled by IDC assembling to each exposed connection part. After the connection of the cables has been completed, the contact terminals are inserted further into their respective holes so that the connection parts become entirely covered. Such configuration eliminates the need for a cover, a component which is necessary for ordinary IDC type connector, and enables reduction in the size of the connector and in labor costs. Such housing may be used in modular form. By combining such modular housings, it is possible to construct various type of connectors merely by changing the case used to combine the modules. Such combined connectors are easy to wire at the interior portions of the cable connector. So, high packing density multi-contact connectors are provided.
