摘要: In a fluid transmission device, a male fitting surface of a periphery of a diameter-expanded portion of a pump shell is fitted to a female fitting surface of an inner circumference of a peripheral wall portion of a cylindrical transmission cover, and a fillet weld being is formed between an end surface of the peripheral wall portion and a peripheral surface of the diameter-expanded portion along an entire circumference, thereby connecting together the pump shell and the transmission cover. An annular recess is formed in an inner circumferential surface of the peripheral wall portion to adjoin the female fitting surface on the side opposite from the fillet weld. A portion of the transmission cover corresponding to the recess constitutes an annular thin-walled portion which has a thickness smaller than the portions of the transmission cover along the opposite sides of the annular thin wall portion. Therefore, even if the diameters of the pump shell and the transmission cover are increased, the durability of the pump shell and the transmission cover can be improved by alleviating excessive stress concentration on the fillet weld between the pump shell and the transmission cover.

摘要: Connector housings (11, 12) to be mounted on a printed circuit board (100) have a plurality of rows of contacts (13, 14) extending from wall surfaces of the housing (11, 12). These contacts (13, 14) are soldered to conductive pads (23) of a flexible circuit (20). The flexible circuit (20), bent in a generally U-shaped, about an insertion portion (31) of a metallic guide portion (30) which is to be inserted between rows of contacts (50) of a mating connector (40) for interconnection therebetween. The guide member (30) preferably engages a ground conductor (176) on the reverse surface of the flexible substrate and includes extending portions (142) to groundingly engage conductive member (43, 124) positioned at both ends of the housing. In an alternate embodiment strengthening plates may be adhered to the flexible circuit between the opposed arrays of conductive pads and ground contact pads.

摘要: A memory card connector with an ejection mechanism 10 comprises an operating rod 15 sliding lengthwise along a side surface of a frame 11 and a cam bar 16 linked to the operating rod 15 intended for the ejection of the card. A spring 17 is attached to an overhang at an inner end of the operating rod 15 and to a mounting member 19 on the frame 11. Because of such an arrangement, the operating rod 15 is forced forward; and at the same time, due to the fact that the mounting member 19 is closer to the center of the connector than an overhang 34 of the operating rod 15, the operating rod is forced to the side surface of the frame 11.

摘要: During transmission shifts, a band brake is used in either a self-loosening direction in which an engaging force thereof is not sensitive to variations in hydraulic pressure or a self-tightening direction in which the engaging force is sensitive to variations in hydraulic pressure. In the self-loosening direction, a second regulated hydraulic pressure generated by a second pressure regulating valve (B-4 control valve) in accordance with a control hydraulic pressure generated by a second (throttle-pressure-control) linear solenoid valve in a margin control region thereof is supplied to a hydraulic servo of the fourth brake (band brake). In this clutch-to-clutch shift, a first regulated hydraulic pressure generated by a first pressure regulating valve (a shift-pressure control valve) in accordance with a control hydraulic pressure generated by a first (pressure-regulation) linear solenoid valve is supplied to a hydraulic servo of a third (UD direct) clutch. In the self tightening direction, the first regulated hydraulic pressure generated by the first pressure regulating valve (the shift-pressure control valve) is supplied to the hydraulic servo of the fourth brake (band brake).

摘要: A control system for an automatic transmission, having a fluid transmission unit for transmitting the rotation of an engine to a speed change unit. The control system includes a clutch which is applied responsive to selection of forward running range; a one-way clutch which is locked, when the clutch is applied, to establish a forward first speed; a brake for locking the one-way clutch, to block reverse rotation of the output shaft of the speed change unit. First and second hydraulic servos apply, respectively, the clutch and the brake responsive to receipt of oil pressures. A control unit controls the oil pressures fed to the first and second hydraulic servos. The control unit starts the feed of oil pressure to the second hydraulic servo responsive to selection of a forward running range, provided the vehicle is substantially stopped, the engine is idling and the foot brake is engaged. The control unit starts the reduction of the pressure of the first hydraulic servo upon expiration of a set time period and starts transition of the clutch from the applied state to the slipping state of the clutch upon completion of the piston stroke of the second hydraulic servo which applies the brake.
