摘要: Toner remaining on a photosensitive drum may be prevented from being given out after a toner image is transferred, by causing a seal member to abut on both a photosensitive portion of the photosensitive drum and a flange disposed on each of ends of the photosensitive portion and having less hardness than the photosensitive portion, further a flange being configured to be smaller in outer diameter than the photosensitive portion so that a contact pressure of the seal member on the flange may be reduced, and accordingly, in an image formation apparatus, this may allow flange galling to reduce without seal characteristic degradation.

摘要: A method for forming a Ru layer for an integrated circuit by providing a patterned substrate in a process chamber, and exposing the substrate to a process gas comprising a ruthenium carbonyl precursor and a CO gas to form a Ru layer over a feature of the patterned substrate. In one embodiment, the CO partial pressure in the process chamber is varied during the exposing to control the step coverage of the Ru layer over the feature. In an alternative or further embodiment, the step coverage can be controlled by varying the substrate temperature during the exposure.

摘要: A method for depositing a thin film on a substrate in a vapor deposition system is described. Prior to the deposition process, the substrate is provided within the vapor deposition system and coupled to an upper surface of a substrate holder within the vapor deposition system, whereby the substrate is heated to a deposition temperature in a first gaseous atmosphere. Thereafter, the first gaseous atmosphere is displaced by a second gaseous atmosphere, and the pressure is adjusted to a deposition pressure. The second gaseous atmosphere comprises a gaseous composition that is substantially the same as the carrier gas utilized to transport film precursor vapor to the substrate and the optional dilution gas utilized to dilute the carrier gas and film precursor vapor.

摘要: In a ladder-type piezoelectric filter, attenuation in stop bands on a low frequency side and a high frequency side are increased while a pass band is widened. The ladder-type piezoelectric filter is made up by alternately connecting parallel arms and series arms. The parallel arms are respectively made up by serially connecting parallel resonators and LC element networks, and the series arms are respectively made up of series resonators. The LC element networks are respectively made up so as to be inductive in resonant frequencies of the serially connected parallel resonators. Further, the LC element networks include capacitors which contribute to formation of a new series resonant point in the stop band on the high frequency side.

摘要: An image forming apparatus for forming an image on a recording medium is disclosed. The image forming apparatus includes a print head (4) having an ink emitting surface (6) in which there are formed a plural number of ink emitting openings (13). An ink is emitted from the ink emitting openings (13) for forming an image on a recording medium. The image forming apparatus also includes an emission controller (41) for controlling the ink emission from the ink emitting openings (13) formed in the ink emitting surface (6). The emission controller (41) is responsive to an input image signal to control the quantity of preliminary ink emission from one or more of the ink emitting openings (13) or to select one or more of the ink emitting openings (13). In this manner, the quantity of the preliminary ink emission from the ink emitting openings (13) is controlled, or one or more of the ink emitting openings (13) is selected, responsive to the image signal, to diminish the wasteful ink emission and to clean the ink emitting openings (13) or the vicinity without damaging the ink emitting surface (6).

摘要: A novel method and apparatus is disclosed, that embeds with, or otherwise makes available to an adaptive equalizer, suitable for use in IEEE 10G-LRM standard compliant receivers, digital logic that monitors some of the Layer 1 and preferably some of the Layer 2 processing that typically occurs after the equalization step during decoding and processing of the record data stream. From this additional logic information, the equalizer is able to make a much more accurate prediction of equalizer convergence by counting processing errors and prove convergence by calculation of BER. The novel method and apparatus are applicable to ASIC embodiments and the complexity of the logic information obtained can be programmably scaled back or enhanced as appropriate in light of the particular communication environment.

摘要: A method for forming a variable thickness Cu seed layer on a substrate for a subsequent Cu electrochemical plating process, where the Cu seed layer thickness profile improves uniformity of the electroplated Cu layer compared to when using a constant thickness Cu seed layer. The method includes depositing a Ru metal layer on the substrate, depositing a variable thickness Cu seed layer on the Ru metal layer by a physical vapor deposition process, whereby the variable thickness Cu seed layer is deposited with a Cu thickness at the edge of the substrate that is less than a Cu thickness at the center of the substrate, and plating bulk Cu onto the variable thickness Cu seed layer. The Ru metal layer may be a variable thickness Ru metal layer, or alternately, the Ru metal layer may have a substantially uniform Ru metal thickness across the substrate.

摘要: Embodiments of the present invention restrain the head position accuracy from degrading due to torsional vibration of a head supporting unit. According to an embodiment of the invention, an actuator has a twisted carriage arm. A suspension is tilted in accordance with the twist of the carriage arm. When the carriage arm and the suspension torsionally vibrate, the vibration direction tilts against the normal direction of a recording surface in accordance with the twist. This technique decreases a peak value of off-track displacement that is caused by a head slider and is dependent on relationship between a skew angle and a torsional vibration direction.
