    摘要: The disclosure relates to fuel cell systems including a multiplicity of unit fuel cells arranged in a stack, with each unit fuel cell separated by an electrode separator assembly. Each unit fuel cell includes a membrane electrode assembly with an anode, a cathode, and a solid polymer electrolyte membrane disposed between the anode and the cathode. An anode separator is positioned between each membrane electrode assembly of adjoining unit fuel cells within the stack in contact with an anode, and a cathode separator is positioned between each membrane electrode assembly of adjoining unit fuel cells within the stack in contact with a cathode. A surface of an anode separator is joined to a surface of a cathode separator of an adjoining unit fuel cell to form an electrode separator assembly. The disclosure also relates to a method of making a fuel cell assembly.

    摘要: This invention aims to provide lubricating oil compositions excellent in low-temperature properties, oxidation stability, lubricity at high temperatures and fuel efficiency and also in handling properties at low temperatures, and a viscosity modifier for lubricating oil employable in said lubricating oil compositions. The viscosity modifier for lubricating oil comprises an ethylene/&agr;-olefin copolymer (B) composed of: (i) ethylene, (ii) an &agr;-olefin of 3 or more carbon atoms, and (iii) a higher &agr;-olefin of 4 to 20 carbon atoms wherein the carbon number of (iii) is larger than that of (ii) by one or more, and the ethylene/&agr;-olefin copolymer (B) has the following properties (b-1) and (b-2): (b-1) a content of ethylene (i) is in the range of 40 to 80% by weight, a content of the &agr;-olefin of 3 or more carbon atoms (ii) is in the range of 15 to 59% by weight, and a content of the higher &agr;-olefin of 4 to 20 carbon atoms (iii) is in the range of 0.1 to 25% by weight with the proviso that the sum is 100% by weight; and (b-2) a weight-average molecular weight (Mw) in terms of polystyrene as measured by GPC is between 80,000 and 400,000.

    摘要: The ethylenic copolymer rubber according to the present invention is a novel and useful ethylenic copolymer rubber which can be cross-linked at a high velocity and is superior in scorching stability, in workability and in moldability, of which cross-linked product is superior in the mechanical properties, such as the cross-linked rubber strength etc., and in the form-preservability. A cross-linkable rubber composition containing this ethylenic copolymer rubber is utilized for producing, for example, cross-linked molded rubber product for use as sealing element and automobile weather strip sponge. The ethylenic copolymer rubber according to the present invention comprises a random copolymer made of ethylene, an &agr;-olefin having 3-20 carbon atoms and a triene represented by the formula (1) given below as well as an optionally incorporated non-conjuagted polyene having two or more polymerizable double bonds in the molecule, wherein the mole ratio of ethylene/&agr;-olefin is 95/5-40/60 and the triene content is 0.1-10 mole %, the intrinsic viscosity (&eegr;) determined in decalin at 135° C. is 0.1-10 dl/g and wherein the ratio of the above intrinsic viscosity (&eegr;) versus the converted intrinsic viscosity (&eegr;)blank′ converted to a linear ethylene/propylene copolymer having 70 mole % of ethylene units determined by gel permeation chromatography (GPC, at 140° C., in o-dichlorobenzene solvent) of the ethylenic copolymer rubber, i.e. (&eegr;)/(&eegr;)blank′=g′, is 0.5-0.95. in which R1 and R2 denote each, independently of each other, hydrogen atom, methyl or ethyl and R3 and R4 denote each, independently of each other, methyl or ethyl.

    摘要: A rubber composition useful as a tire side wall or tire tread is formed from an unsaturated olefin copolymer (A) or (A′) and diene rubber (B). Copolymers (A) and (A′) are each obtained from (i) ethylene, (ii) aromatic vinyl compound, (iii) non-conjugated polyene, and, optionally (iv) alpha-olefin having at least 3 carbon atoms. When used in forming a tire side wall, copolymer (A) has a molar ratio of (i)/(iv) from 100/0 to 40/60; molar ratio of [((i)+(iv))/(ii)] from 98/2 to 60/40; an intrinsic viscosity, measured in decalin, at 135° C., from 1.0 to 6.0 dl/g; and iodine value from 10 to 50. For use in tire tread, copolymer (A′), has a molar ratio (i)/(iv) from 100/0 to 40/60; molar ratio [((i)+(iv)):(ii)] from 99/1 to 85/15. The weight ratio (A′)/(B) is from 1/99 to 50/50. The compositions for tire side wall are characterized by excellent strength properties and bending fatigue resistance and low fuel consumption. The compositions for tire tread are characterized by superior strength properties, abrasion resistance and braking performance on wet road (wet ski resistance) and small rolling resistance.
