摘要: Processes disclosed are capable of converting biomass into high-crystallinity, hydrophobic cellulose. In some variations, the process includes fractionating biomass with an acid (such as sulfur dioxide), a solvent (such as ethanol), and water, to generate cellulose-rich solids and a liquid containing hemicellulose and lignin; and depositing lignin onto cellulose fibers to produce lignin-coated cellulose materials (such as dissolving pulp). The crystallinity of the cellulose material may be 80% or higher, translating into good reinforcing properties for composites. Optionally, sugars derived from amorphous cellulose and hemicellulose may be separately fermented, such as to monomers for various polymers. These polymers may be combined with the hydrophobic cellulose to form completely renewable composites.

摘要: What is disclosed is a cellulose-based product and a method for producing the aggregate admix product that includes the steps of thoroughly hydrating cellulose fibers, mixing clay and mineral particulates with a liquid to produce an emulsion, adding the emulsion to the hydrated cellulose fibers, and thoroughly impregnating the cellulose fibers with components from the emulsion and producing an aggregate admix product. The aggregate admix product is combined with cement and a liquid to create a cementitious product that can be directly sprayed onto building structures.

摘要: A method for preparing a silane coupling agent/silica/plant fiber composite includes the following steps: S1: pretreating plant fiber; S2: preparing hydrolysate of a silane coupling agent; S3: preparing a silane coupling agent/plant fiber composite; S4: preparing a silica nanoparticle dispersion; and S5: preparing a silane coupling agent/silica nanoparticle/plant fiber composite. Through the covalent interaction among a silanol group (Si—OH) formed by hydrolysis of the silane coupling agent, Si—OH of the silica, and a hydroxyl group (—OH) on the surface of the plant fiber, the present invention enables silica nanoparticles to be grafted on the surface of the plant fiber. Using a hydrophobic film formed by the silane coupling agent, harmful ions are prevented from invading, and the volume stability of the fiber is improved. Using the pozzolanic activity of the silica nanoparticles, the alkalinity and calcium hydroxide content around the fiber are reduced.

Specifically, provided is a method for producing a building material, including: a first step of curing a core layer material including a hydraulic material, a silica-containing material, and an aluminum powder, to react the aluminum powder and form bubbles, and incompletely hardening the hydraulic material and the silica-containing material, to form a foamed core layer; a second step of dispersing a surface layer material including a hydraulic material, and a silica-containing material, to form an unfoamed surface layer; a third step of stacking the foamed core layer on the unfoamed surface layer, to form a stack including the unfoamed surface layer and the foamed core layer; and a fourth step of pressing and curing the stack, and a building material produced therewith.

The cement ink includes an American Petroleum Institute (API) Class G cement, a nano-clay, a superplasticizer, a hydroxyethyl cellulose, and a defoamer. The nano-clay may be hydrophilic bentonite. The superplasticizer may be a polycarboxylate ether. The defoamer may be 2-ethyl-1-hexanol. Processes for forming the cement ink and printing 3D cement structures using the cement ink are also provided.

摘要: Cement composite boards comprising cellulose filaments (CF) and/or CF-containing pulp, are described. The composite boards have at least an improved modulus of rupture when compared with similar board that are free of CF. Methods for producing the CF and/or CF-containing pulp reinforced cement boards are also described. The CF cement composite board comprises: cellulose filaments (CF) and/or CF-containing pulp, and cement, wherein the CF has an aspect ratio of 200 to 5000, comprising a weight % of CF is from 1% to 20% by weight of the composite board. The composite boards herein described may have a modulus of rupture of more than 7 MPa.
