摘要: Disclosed herein are system, apparatus, article of manufacture, method and/or computer program product embodiments, and/or combinations and sub-combinations thereof, for a dimmer device including a driver, and a controller communicatively coupled to the driver and to a monitor device. The monitor device can include a camera and is configured to take a plurality of images of the illumination load. The controller provides a control signal that indicates to the driver to adjust power supplied to an illumination load. The control signal is provided in response to a determination that a performance of the illumination load fails to satisfy a predetermined performance indicator. The performance of the illumination load is determined based on information related to the plurality of images of the illumination load taken by the camera of the monitor device. The controller can adjust a dimming level of the illumination load by providing the control signal to the driver.

摘要: In an apparatus, each of light receiving elements outputs an intensity signal based on a corresponding intensity of return light from a measurement space. The return light includes reflected light reflected based on reflection of the measurement light by a target object. An identifying unit identifies a light receiving area in the light detection region as a function of the intensity signals of the respective light receiving elements. The light receiving area is based on specified light receiving elements in the plurality of light receiving elements. The specified light receiving elements are arranged to receive the reflected light. An estimating unit estimates, based on a geometry of the light receiving area, a state of the apparatus including a state of the optical system.

摘要: A method for assigning light sensors for regulating a lighting system includes switching the lighting of the lighting system into a first switching state such that a first lighting group emits light with a predetermined luminous flux, switching the lighting of the lighting system into a second switching state such that the first lighting group emits light with a reduced luminous flux by comparison with the predetermined luminous flux or emits no light, and measuring a luminance of the light reflected by a reference surface respectively assigned to the light sensors with the aid of the light sensors to determine a first measurement value in the first switching state and a second measurement value in the second switching state. The method may further include assigning a sensor to the first lighting group based on a comparison of difference values formed for each of the light sensors, and storing the assignment.

摘要: A lighting system with illumination-balancing function is provided, which includes a plurality of lighting devices distributed over a lighting zone. Each of the lighting devices includes a control module and a light-emitting module. The light-emitting module is connected to the control module. When the light-emitting module malfunctions, the control module transmits a malfunctioning signal to the other lighting devices not malfunctioning, such that the brightness of each of the lighting devices, not malfunctioning and adjacent to the lighting device malfunctioning, increases so as to make the illumination of the lighting zone be substantially equal to a predetermined value.

摘要: A watercraft safety lighting system includes one or more light sensors for measuring ambient light levels, which are operatively connected to an electronic controller, such as a programmable logic controller or any suitable programmable computing device. The navigation lights are operatively connected to the electronic controller, as well as docking lights, interior lights, and instrument panel lighting, such as the lighting for gauges, instrument panels, video screens, GPS monitors, and the like. When ambient light levels reach a predetermined level of low light (as darkness is setting in, for example), the electronic controller is programmed to switch on the navigation lights, and to adjust other lighting to appropriate levels for night-time operations. The system may also shut off docking lights at a predetermined speed after dark, and may include alarms to warn the boat captain of improper lighting settings in low-light conditions.

摘要: A device may be configured to detect a glare condition and may comprise a photo sensing circuit and a visible light sensing circuit. The photo sensing circuit may be configured to periodically generate an illuminance signal that indicates an illuminance value. The visible light sensing circuit may be configured to periodically record images of the space at an exposure time. The device may receive an illuminance signal from the photo sensing circuit and determine a present illuminance based on the illuminance signal. The device may adjust the frequency at which the visible light sensing circuit records images based on the present illuminance. The exposure time may be determined based on the present illuminance and a glare condition type. An image recorded at a respective exposure time may wash out pixels above a certain illuminance value. The device may detect a glare condition at the location of washed out pixels.
