The molding may be accomplished by making multiple depressions in a bed of powder material, each depression having a desired shape; depositing the heated composition into the depressions at a temperature at which the heated composition will fill into the shapes of the depressions; allowing the heated composition to set up to a consistency wherein the composition maintains the shape of the depression to form the shaped chewing gum products; and separating the shaped chewing gum products from the powder material.
