    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a terminal and a base station as well as to a method which may be performed at a terminal and at a base station in a communication system. For example, a mobile device may comprise a transceiver, which, in operation, receives and/or transmits a signal, as well as a circuitry. The circuitry monitors a signal in a first set of resources.     Abstract: In a base station (100), a controller (101) determines one set from among a plurality of sets, each of which including one or more candidates for a resource for an uplink (UL) control channel during initial access, and determines one candidate from among the one or more candidates for the resource, which is included in the determined set. A transmitter (114) indicates the determined set to a terminal (200) by higher layer signaling, and indicates the determined candidate by dynamic signaling. A receiver (116) receives a UL control signal, using the resource corresponding to the determined candidate in the determined set. In the base station, the association between a value to be indicated by the higher layer signaling and the plurality of sets is configured for each of one or more parameters relating to the initial access.

    Abstract: An information processing method is provided to reduce an amount of data to be monitored in an onboard system of a vehicle. In the method, detection results that indicate whether an abnormality is included in communication data on an onboard network are obtained, and a first log transmission instruction is generated to cause periodic transmission of a first log from the onboard system to a server device. The first log is a log of some of the communication data. A second log transmission instruction is generated to cause transmission of a second log from the onboard system to the server device in a case of the detection results indicating the abnormality is included in the communication data. The second log is a log of more of the communication data than the first log.

    Abstract: In a multi-antenna communication system using LDPC codes, a simple method is used to effectively improve the received quality by performing a retransmittal of less data without restricting applicable LDPC codes. In a case of a non-retransmittal, a multi-antenna transmitting apparatus transmits, from two antennas, LDPC encoded data formed by LDPC encoding blocks. In a case of a retransmittal, the multi-antenna transmitting apparatus uses a transmission method, in which the diversity gain is higher than in the previous transmission, to transmit only a part of the LDPC encoded data as previously transmitted. For example, the only the part of the LDPC encoded data to be re-transmitted is transmitted from the single antenna.
