    Abstract: An endless track for propelling a snowmobile. The endless track includes an inner drive surface, and an outer ground-engaging surface opposite to the inner drive surface. A plurality of reinforcing rods each extend along a track width in rod rows and are spaced apart at a drive pitch length along a track length. A plurality of treads each extend from the outer ground-engaging surface and are spaced apart at a tread pitch length along the track length. At least two of the plurality of reinforcing rods have different lengths.

    Abstract: A footrest system for use on a snowmobile. The footrest system includes a footrest that extends from a first proximal end to a second distal end. A fender covers a proximal portion of the footrest to define a toe pocket. A snow evacuation bore passes through the proximal portion of the footrest and the fender. The snow evacuation bore is configured to pass snow out of the toe pocket and through the footrest and fender.

    Abstract: A system and method for interfacing an autonomous or remote control drive-by-wire controller with a vehicle's control modules. Vehicle functions including steering, braking, starting, etc. are controllable by wire via a control network. A CAN architecture is used as an interface between the remote/autonomous controller and the vehicle's control modules. A CAN module interface provides communication between a vehicle control system and a supervisory, remote, autonomous, or drive-by-wire controller. The interface permits the supervisory control to control vehicle operation within pre-determined bounds and using control algorithms.

    Abstract: A recreational vehicle with side by side seating has or can receive an overhead tubular framework with an accessory rail removably attached to an overhead cross member of the tubular framework. The accessory rail providing an anchor for a forward edge of a soft top with the soft top wrapping around the overhead cross member and extending rearwardly and being supported by and secured to the tubular framework. A first functional portion providing the fixed anchor for the forward edge of the soft top, another functional portion providing interface and attachment features for connecting the rail to the overhead cross member, and another functional portion providing accessory mounting with variable positioning and attachment of an array of accessories above and forward of the side by side seating region.

    Abstract: Cover designs for watercraft, such as pontoon boats, facilitate easy deployment and removal, as well as compact and convenient storage. The cover may be collapsed and deployed in a predetermined manner with a minimized chance of becoming twisted, bunched or otherwise disorganized. The cover may be reducible to sections which can be individually collapsed and deployed. The cover may include collapsible poles which can be extended and retracted as the cover is deployed and collapsed. The cover may be stored in a dedicated storage container permanently fixed to the watercraft, such that the cover can be deployed from, and collapsed into, the storage container.

    Abstract: A hybrid personal watercraft combines features of pontoon boats and deck boats, in a cost-effective and versatile package. The watercraft includes port and starboard sponsons which combine a pair of outboard flotation cavities. A space below the deck and above the hull bottom creates at least one, and potentially up to three additional flotation cavities, which may also be used as storage areas accessible by an access door in the bow of the watercraft and/or a set of hatches in the deck. The watercraft may be efficiently produced assembled from polymer materials, such as thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO).
