摘要: In a heat storage system for a vehicle, when a temperature of cooling water from a vehicle engine is high, adsorbents are heated by the cooling water, so that moisture is desorbed from the adsorbents in order to store heat. When the temperature of cooling water is low, the moisture is adsorbed in the adsorbents to heat the cooling water, while refrigerant in a vapor compression refrigerator is cooled by evaporating water. Thus, adsorption heat is generated from the adsorbents, and the cooling water is heated by using the adsorption heat. Accordingly, warm-up operation of the vehicle engine is facilitated, while motive power consumed by the vapor compression refrigerator can be reduced.

摘要: An air conditioner for an economically running vehicle includes a compressor driven by a vehicle engine, an evaporator, and a cold-storage heat exchanger having a cold storage material. The evaporator and the cold-storage heat exchanger are disposed in series in a refrigerant flow. When the compressor is operated, the cold storage material is cooled by low-pressure refrigerant in a cold storage mode. When the operation of the compressor is stopped, refrigerant circulates between the evaporator and the cold-storage heat exchanger, so that refrigerant evaporated in the evaporator is cooled and liquefied by the cold storage material in a cold release mode. Further, a flow direction of refrigerant flowing through the evaporator in the cold storage mode is the same as that in the cold release mode.

摘要: An image pickup section incorporates a solid-state image pickup element chip. Electronic parts for driving or controlling the image pickup section are mounted on a circuit board. First and second electrode pad groups are formed on the circuit board, and a separation band is also formed on the circuit board between the first and second electrode pad groups. The circuit board is used as it is when the image pickup device is not required to be bendable. When the image pickup device is required to be bendable, the circuit board is separated by cutting it at the separation band and the first and second electrode pad groups that are now respectively located on the separated pieces of the circuit board are connected to each other by signal lines.

摘要: A modulator in a coolant recirculation line for a refrigerating apparatus. The modulator is used for storing an excess amount of the coolant recirculated in the system. The modulator has a space extending vertically, upward and a bottom end connected to the recirculating line at a position downstream of a condenser, in such a manner that only a part of the coolant passed through the condenser is introduced into the modulator to compensate for variations in the amount of coolant needed for recirculation in the system. The modulator can be arranged in the middle of the heat exchanger, and defines therein a boundary between the liquid phase and the gas phase, for a separation of the gas from the coolant, so that the portion of the heat exchanger downstream of the modulator can operate as a super cooler.

摘要: The waste heat from a heating part mounted on a vehicle is recovered and extracted by a refrigerant for gas injection so that the heating capacity at a low ambient temperature may be effectively improved while suppressing an increase in the power consumption. At the heating time, the refrigerant is circulated in a closed circuit composed of a compressor, an indoor heat exchanger, a pressure regulator and an outdoor heat exchanger, and the refrigerant, as condensed in the indoor heat exchanger, is regulated to an intermediate pressure by a pressure regulator and introduced into a heat exchanger. In this heat exchanger, the refrigerant extracts the heat from the heating part at the side of the vehicle so that it evaporates. The refrigerant thus having evaporated is introduced through an evaporation pressure regulating valve via a gas injection passage into a gas injection port of the compressor.

摘要: In an air conditioning apparatus employing a heat pump system in which a cooling evaporator and a heating condenser are disposed inside the compartment. A compressor is provided with a gas injection port, a fixed throttle for reducing pressure of refrigerant on high pressure side in a refrigerating cycle to middle pressure, and a gas-liquid separator for separating the middle pressure refrigerant of which pressure is reduced by the fixed throttle. The gaseous refrigerant separated by the gas-liquid separator is introduced into the gas injection port. In a heating operation, the refrigerant circulates through the compressor, the condenser, the fixed throttle, the gas-liquid separator, an expansion valve, an outdoor heat exchanger, and the compressor as a closed circuit, while the gaseous refrigerant separated by the gas-liquid separator is injected into the compressor through the gas injection port. As a result, when the outside air temperature is low, the heating capacity is improved.

摘要: The invention prevents the temperature of supplied air from being decreased by a defrosting operation when a vehicle is in operation. During the heating operation, it is judged whether the vehicle is in operation. When the vehicle is in operation, it is judged whether an external heat exchanger is frosted or not relying upon the external air temperature, temperature of the external heat exchanger (coolant) and the time of heating operation. When it is judged that frost is formed, the rotational speed of the compressor is increased to increase the ability to supplying the coolant, to maintain heating ability and to prevent the drop of temperature of the supplied air. When the frost is formed after the operation of the vehicle has been finished, it is judged whether the secondary batteries are being charged or not, i.e., whether the charging circuit of the secondary batteries is connected to the external power source for charging or not. When it has not been connected, the device waits until it is connected, and the defrosting operation is executed at a moment when the charging circuit is connected.
