The present invention relates to an image sensor module including a flexible printed circuit board (FPCB) having a window; and an image sensor that is formed to have the same size as the width of the FPCB and is attached on one surface of the FPCB, the image sensor including a light receiving section, which receives light passing through the window, and a signal processing section which processes signals generated by the light receiving section.

An electronic tag including privacy level information, and a privacy protection apparatus and method using the electronic tag are provided. The privacy protection apparatus using an electronic tag includes: an information storing unit storing recognition information of an electronic tag and privacy information on the electronic tags; an information request/response processing unit receiving the recognition information of electronic tags and information on a user that requests information on the electronic tags through a predetermined communication network; a privacy policy managing unit determining whether the privacy information on the electronic tags corresponding to the recognition information of electronic tags is stored in the information storing unit; and an information disclosure determination processing unit, if it is determined that the privacy information on the electronic tags is stored in the information storing unit, comparing the information on the user and a predetermined standard for publishing the privacy information, determining how much of the privacy information on the electronic tags is provided to the user, and providing the determined privacy information to the user.

A fingerprint recognition method and system for recognizing a fingerprint by storing local fingerprint images inputted from a fingerprint sensor and compositing the stored local fingerprint images into an effective single fingerprint image. The method includes obtaining relative sliding speed and directional information between the local fingerprint images, correcting sliding speed and directional values of the local fingerprint images using the obtained sliding speed and directional information, and compositing the local fingerprint images into the effective single fingerprint image using the corrected sliding speed and directional values.

The present invention provides a method for manufacturing a lens assembly of a microcolumn having a plurality of microlenses and a plurality of insulating layers alternately interposed between the microlenses. The method includes forming at least one first microlens assembly set (set—1) by anodic-bonding an insulating layer (101) and a microlens (102) together; layering a second microlens assembly set (set—2) on the first microlens assembly set (set—1); and scanning a laser beam, thus welding the first microlens assembly set (set—1) to the microlens of the second microlens assembly set (set—2). The method of the present invention further includes anodic-bonding the microlens assembly sets together.
Abstract:
A method of controlling a ceiling type air conditioner to rapidly generate uniform airflow in a room is disclosed. The method includes the steps of controlling the angle of the vanes to be a predetermined maximum angle to increase the airflow to a maximum airflow when initiating the ceiling type air conditioner, and decreasing the angle of the vanes from the maximum angle to a predetermined minimum angle step by step by a predetermined time interval to adjust the airflow. The airflow with the maximum rate can be supplied when initiating the air conditioner such that the chilled/heated airflow rapidly reaches the floor to improve the satisfaction of people in the indoor region. The rate of the airflow varies as time passes so that the uniform airflow can be rapidly supplied and the air conditioning efficiency can be improved.

A micro column electron beam apparatus having a reduced number of interconnections is provided. The micro column electron beam apparatus includes: a low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) substrate; a plurality of deflector electrodes attached to a predetermined top portion of the LTCC substrate; a pad electrode placed at a top edge of the LTCC substrate and transmitting an external signal to the deflector electrodes; and a connection unit placed in the LTCC substrate and electrically connecting the deflector electrode and the pad electrode.

Disclosed is an apparatus and method for controlling an air cleaning. The apparatus includes an air cleaning element, a current detector, an AC high-voltage generator and a control unit. The air cleaning element generates negative ions and ozone using a plasma discharge and cleans indoor air by the negative ions and ozone. The current detector detects a state of current passing through the air cleaning element. The AC high-voltage generator generates an AC high-voltage, and applies the AC high-voltage to the air cleaning element. The control unit varies a magnitude of the AC voltage applied-to the air cleaning element by the AC high-voltage generator depending on a current detecting signal received from the current detector. Therefore, ozone is adequately generated below a limit value depending on a state of indoor air, thereby increasing air cleaning performance so as to sterilize and clean contaminants more efficiently.

Air conditioning system and method for controlling the same are disclosed, the air conditioning system including user input means, display means for providing an environmental factor parameter setting up menu, a memory unit for storing the environmental factors, and parameters for the environmental factors, a ventilating fan, an air cleaning fan, and a control unit for calculating an environment index by using parameters of the environment factors set by the user, and controlling the ventilating fan and the air cleaning fan according to the environment index, thereby maximizing a sense of comfortability of the user, and minimizing health hazards such as multiple chemical sensitivity.
