    摘要： In a saddle type vehicle having a swing type power unit swingably supported on the vehicle wherein the vehicle length can be made shorter. A motorcycle includes a link mechanism extending to the rear from a body frame through a link pivot. The swing type power unit includes an engine. A rear wheel is supported rotatably and swingably on the link mechanism. A cross frame extends between a pair of left and right lower frames with a link restriction section for restricting the turning amount of the link mechanism hanging downwardly from the cross frame. The link pivot is disposed under the lower frames.

In a motorcycle which arranges a meter indicating information on a vehicle and a sound operation unit for providing a reproduction operation or the like in a sound system in the vicinity of a steering portion, the meter and the sound operation unit are constituted as bodies separate from each other. The meter and the sound operation unit are arranged, as viewed in the axial direction of a head pipe which supports a steering portion, in front of and behind the head pipe.

    摘要： A saddle-ride type vehicle with a swing arm swingably supported on a body frame. A shock absorber is connected to the body frame and the swing arm for applying a damping force. A shock absorber support member is suspended to the body frame in a vehicle width direction for supporting an upper end of the shock absorber. The shock absorber is supported on a central portion in the vehicle width direction of the shock absorber support member. The central portion in the vehicle width direction of the shock absorber support member is formed in a U-shape that is open at a lower side in a cross section taken along a longitudinal direction of the vehicle. An upper surface and a lower surface of the shock absorber support member are curved wherein a central portion lies above the end portion in the vehicle width direction.

A riding seat covers the opening end of the storage box from above.     摘要： There is provided a garnish attachment structure of a vehicle body using one of a roof garnish provided along a side part of a roof of the vehicle body and a window garnish provided along a side part of a window glass as a first garnish, and using the other as a second garnish. The garnishes are attached to a vehicle body members provided in the vehicle body. The garnish attachment structure includes: positioning locking parts that lock an end of the first garnish from an up-and-down direction and an end of the second garnish from a longitudinal forward-and-backward direction to the vehicle body member; and engaging parts that are provided at an each end of the first garnish and the second garnish and are locked to the positioning locking parts. The engaging parts are locked to the positioning locking parts, and the ends of the first garnish and the second garnish overlap each other whereby the first garnish and the second garnish are attached to the vehicle body members.
