    摘要: A Roots-type rotary fluid machine having resin-coated rotors fluid-tightly accomodated in a chamber formed in a housing structure which consists of a generally cup-shaped main housing body having a bore closed at its one end and open the other end, and a covering member which closes the open end of the bore in the housing body. The housing body includes a fillet portion which bridges an inner flat surface defining the bottom of the bore and facing one end face of each rotor, and an inner peripheral surface defining the periphery of the bore and facing the outer peripheral surface of each rotor. The fillet portion is formed along a line of intersection of extensions of the inner flat surface and the inner peripheral surface of the housing body, and inwardly into the bore from this line of intersection. The fillet portion has a generally triangular shape in cross section taken in a direction perpendicular to the above line of intersection.

    摘要: A magnetic head core and a method of fabricating same, wherein a magnetic circuit is constituted by a pair of magnetic films having a V-shaped cross section which face each other at each protrudent section through the gap material. The cross-sectional portion of the V-shaped film is exposed to the surface facing the magnetic recording medium. The protrusions of the magnetic film pair have tip planes parallel to each other and substantially perpendicular to the moving direction of the magnetic recording medium. The tip plane has a width defined by the line of intersection between the plane and the surface facing the magnetic recording medium in correspondence to the recording track width. At least one of the magnetic films has a window for winding an excitation coil. The magnetic film is formed on the non-magnetic protection member having a V-shaped protrusion. The magnetic head has superior recording and reproducing characteristics in a wide frequency band with less rubbing noise, high wear-resistivity and high productivity, and operates without the pseudo gap effect. The magnetic head core is fabricated through the steps of forming a coil winding groove in the gap forming plane of a non-magnetic core block, forming a number of parallel grooves perpendicularly to the winding groove so that a number of V-shaped protrusions are produced, forming a magnetic film on the surface of the protrusions, forming a gap plane after the magnetic film has been coated with non-magnetic material, and splitting the block and then combining the two core blocks to complete a magnetic head core.

    摘要: An improvement in Cartesian diving toy includes modification of both the diving component of the toy and of the receptacle in which the toy dives in. The diving toy includes an air chamber, a section of which is invaginated within the remaining section of the air chamber. The invaginated section is convoluted and is capable of extending or shortening in respect to pressure changes in the environment outside of the air chamber. A propulsion member is connected to the invaginated section of the air chamber and moves in response to the elongation or the shortening of the invaginated section to propel the toy through a liquid. The receptacle for the toy is improved by locating a pump chamber in association with the lower part of the receptacle allowing for complete purging of the air out of the pump chamber. The receptacle further includes a stopper having a protuberance on its lower side which fits within an upstanding wall on the upper portion of the receptacle. When the stopper is fitted onto the receptacle, the protuberance is forced into the upper surface of the liquid within the receptacle and displaces any gas within the upper periphery of the receptacle rendering the receptacle essentially gas free such that the liquid therein is capable of transmitting pressure differences from the pump directly to the air chamber of the diving component toy.
