    摘要: A projection screen includes a substrate having a metallic aluminum surface and a transparent film overlay. The metallic aluminum surface is provided with a pattern of directional irregularities and a pattern of craters. The projection screen is produced by subjecting an aluminum surface to a mechanical surface treatment to form a dense pattern of fine irregularities, etching the treated surface to form a crater pattern thereon and coating the resulting surface with a protective transparent film.

    摘要: A control device for an engine provided with a turbocharger properly uses a parameter used for controlling a center-of-gravity position of a heat generation rate determined by a heat generation rate as the amount per unit crank angle of heat generated by combustion of fuel depending on operating situations of the engine and a vehicle in which the engine is mounted. Specifically, an increase in a turbocharging pressure of the turbocharger is executed when a rotational speed of the engine and a speed of the vehicle in which the engine is mounted are lower than predetermined reference values in a case where the center-of-gravity position of a heat generation rate is further on a retard side than a predetermined crank angle and one or both of an increase in a fuel injection pressure and advancing of a fuel injection timing are executed when the rotational speed of the engine or the speed of the vehicle in which the engine is mounted are equal to or higher than the predetermined reference values in the case where the center-of-gravity position of a heat generation rate is further on the retard side than the predetermined crank angle. Then, fuel economy can be improved by the center-of-gravity position of a heat generation rate being maintained at a predetermined fixed value regardless of a load of the engine and/or the engine rotational speed while an increase in noise and vibration a user feels uncomfortable with is suppressed.

    摘要: A pressure reducer includes a piston slidably accommodated in a cylinder to define a decompression chamber and a pressure adjusting chamber. A seal member includes an elastic member and a sliding portion. The sliding portion is pressed by the elastic member such that the sliding portion slides on an inner circumferential surface of the cylinder. An annular member is located on an outer circumferential surface of the piston and between the seal member and the pressure adjusting surface. The annular member is pressed against the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder with a force that is less than a force with which the sliding portion is pressed against the inner circumferential surface of the cylinder. Thus, the pressure reducer prevents the piston from being moved by an excessive amount with highly accurately adjusting pressure.

In addition, an ECU is included to realize: an arrival position determining section for determining an arrival position of condensed water in the EGR passage that is moved by the EGR at least either at the time of acceleration or at the time of deceleration of the internal combustion engine; and a control section for controlling the flow rate change section on the basis of the arrival position determined by the arrival position determining section.
