摘要： A navigating apparatus which outputs information for guidance to a destination comprises an input device (1) for inputting a destination and a present position, a memory (4) in which guidance information is stored, an arithmetic unit (2) for determining optimum guidance information from the information input from the input device (1) and a display (3) for indicating the guidance information, the memory (4) having data of a plurality of parking lots at least in a destination and the arithmetic unit (2) serving to select the plurality of parking lots and guide the driver along the courses thereto in the destination. This apparatus enables the driver to go to a nearby parking lot by exploration of a course to the next parking lot at the shortest distance and guidance thereto even if a certain parking lot is full of cars in a destination.

摘要： When a semiconductor device having a multi-layered contact is fabaricated, the gate electrode is covered with a thick insulator film. A polycrystalline silicon film is formed in a state in which at least the gate electrode in the contact forming area is covered with a first oxidization-proof insulator film. An inter-layer insulator film is then formed in a state in which at least part of the polycrystalline silicon film is covered with a second oxidization-proof insulator film. A first contact hole is formed using the polycrystalline silicon film as an etching stopper, and the polycrystalline silicon film is then oxidized. Furthermore, a second contact hole is formed in the inter-layer insulator film on the upper surface of the second oxidization-proof insulator film using as the etching stopper the polycrystalline silicon film underlying the second oxidization-proof insulator film. Since the polycrystalline silicon film is formed under the inter-layer insulator film in the second contact forming area so as to cover the gate electrode, it acts as a stopper when the second contact is formed to thereby prevent a short circuit with the gate electrode even if there is no distance between the gate electrode and the second contact.

The route end node series preparing means 3 prepares node series by successively performing node search until the node nearest to the point indicated by the positional information on the starting point or the destination is attained. This construction makes it possible to perform course guidance through navigation based upon the node series between the starting point or the destination and the nearest intersection thereto even if the starting point or the destination is set at a point between intersections when particular points are set as intersections.
