摘要: An atomizer including a fuel supply passage for supplying a fuel, an atomizing medium supply passage for supplying an atomizing medium which is to be mixed with the fuel, a mixing chamber in communication with the fuel supply passage and the atomizing medium supply passage, and spray ports for spraying the fluid mixture consisting of the fuel and the atomizing medium from the mixing chamber. The fuel supply passage and the atomizing medium supply passages are communicated with the mixing chamber through a pre-mixing chamber having an annular cross-section defined by a large-diameter cylindrical surface and a small-diameter cylindrical surface. The fuel and the atomizing medium supplied from the fuel supply passage and the atomizing medium supply passage are pre-mixed the pre-mixing chamber. With this arrangement, it is possible to efficiently mix a slurry fuel and an atomizing medium, thus reducing the particle size of the atomized fuel particles and shortening the flame length. Thus, the atomizer of the invention is indispensable for the boilers which are intended for burning coal-water slurry. The invention makes it possible to form flames with reduced NOx generation and a high burning efficiency through combination between atomizer of the construction described above and a burner having a specific construction.

摘要: An information recording medium such as a magneto-optical recording medium is disclosed. The medium comprises two pieces of recording elements. Each element comprises a support and a recording layer provided on a part of one surface of the support. The two pieces of the elements adhere to each other by a non-corrosion-causing adhesive provided on a part of said surface where a recording layer is provided and a fast-hardening adhesive provided on a part of the surface where no recording layer is provided. The time required to adhere the two pieces of the elements can be considerably decreased and the corrosion of the recording layer by the adhesive can be avoided.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a firm and rigid cam-cam shaft assembly, which comprises the steps: (a) molding a component having through-hole therein from a material of an alloy to be sintered, said material allowing the first ratio of the contraction of the inner diameter of the component at joining portion when the component is singly sintered to the inner diameter thereof before sintering to be more than 2%; (b) presintering said component; (c) assembling said component onto a metal shaft such that said metal shaft may be inserted into said through-hole; and (d) sintering said component assembled onto the metal shaft, whereby the joining of the component to the metal shaft is carried out in such a manner that the second ratio of the difference between the outer diameter of the metal shaft and the inner diameter of the contracted component after sintering to the outer diameter of the metal shaft is more than 2%.

摘要: Disclosed is an electronic sewing machine for modifying a stitch pattern with stitch forming instrumentalities, including a first memory for storing stitch control data used to control said stitch forming instrumentalities, a plurality of pattern selecting switches selectively operable for producing a different pattern signal for addressing the first memory to sequentially read the stitch control data, a second memory for storing a selected number of pattern signals, each one of the selected number of pattern signals designating an initial address of the first memory, a counter for counting the total and ordinal number of the pattern signals stored in the second memory, and a calculating device for storing at least one calculation formula for selecting a predetermined variation rate, the calculating device being responsive to the total as well as ordinal numbers of the pattern signals to modify the stitch control data read from the first memory for controlling the stitch forming instrumentalities.

摘要: The present application discloses a control device for an ice making machine to make ice by circulating ice-making water to an ice making member having a refrigerating system, said control device comprising a timer circuit to be operated simultaneously with or with a delay after the start of an ice making operation and adapted to control a period of time during which an ice making operation is performed, a temperature sensing element whose impedance varies with the variations of the ambient temperature around the refrigerating system, so that an input voltage applied to the timer circuit may vary with the variations of an impedance of the temperature sensing element, thereby to automatically control the period of time during which an ice making operation is performed, whereby the thickness of ice made when one cycle of an ice making operation is completed, may be maintained constant at all times.According to the present invention, provision is made so that, if a condenser is clogged with dust or dirt, an indication is given of such clogging.

摘要: A sewing machine with an electronic memory stores stitch control signals which are sequentially read out in synchronism with rotation of the upper drive shaft. Pattern selecting switches are operated to select a pattern of stitches, each stitch being produced by needle swinging amplitude and feeding amount predetermined by a selected set of stitch control signals of the memory and manually influenced stitch adjusting means to vary either the needle swinging amplitude or feeding amount for fine adjustment of the selected pattern.
