摘要: An abrasive that can impart a mirror finish, glossiness, or the like to a surface of a workpiece by blasting is provided. A crosslinked polyrotaxane compound having a network structure where crosslinking points are circular molecules of polyrotaxane and also having abrasive grains dispersedly mixed therein is obtained by causing chemical bonding between the circular molecules of the polyrotaxane in a state where the abrasive grains and the polyrotaxane are mixed. Then, the crosslinked polyrotaxane compound is granulated to a predetermined grain diameter to obtain a gel-like abrasive where a part of the dispersedly mixed abrasive grain is exposed at the surface. By using the thus-obtained gel-like abrasive in blasting by projecting the abrasive at an angle tilted with respect to a surface of a workpiece, mirror finishing or the like is possible without making the surface of the workpiece pearskin-like.

摘要: An inspection method and an inspection apparatus that can easily measure a distribution of residual stress on a surface processed by shot peening, including a state of distribution in a depth direction of a material to be treated in a relatively short time without destroying the material to be treated. A coil provided in the inspection circuit is arranged on a surface processed by shot peening of the inspection target, an alternating current signal is input to the inspection circuit with changing a frequency so that frequency response characteristics of impedance of the inspection circuit is measured and acquired as inspection target data, and the inspection target data is compared to frequency response characteristics of impedance acquired from a sample of which a state of generation of residual stress is found.

摘要: Flaky particles whose thickness is ½ or less of a long side of a flat surface thereof are continuously injected together with a compressed gas onto a layer-forming surface of a workpiece to orient the flaky particles so that its flat surface is in line with the surface of the workpiece. By coating a binder to the surface of the workpiece in advance, a bonding between the flake particle thus oriented and the workpiece may be accomplished via this binder, or by generating heat at a point of collision between the surface of the workpiece and the flaky particle and at a collision point in which the subsequent flaky particles collide with the flaky particles that have already reached the surface of the workpiece, the bonding may be accomplished by means of this heat.

摘要: An elastic abrasive with abrasive grains dispersed in or adhered to an elastic base material is ejected toward a side portion of a substrate together with compressed air. The elastic abrasive is ejected toward a predetermined processing area centered on a processing point in an ejection direction that intersects a widthwise line at the processing point and that forms a predetermined inclination angle selected from a range of 2° to 60° relative to a contact line. Moreover, an ejection nozzle and the workpiece are moved relatively to each other so that the processing area is moved at a fixed speed in a circumferential direction of the workpiece and so that the ejection direction is maintained at each processing point after moving. If multiple stacked substrates are to be processed, the processing area is moved at a fixed speed also in a widthwise direction of the substrates.

摘要: To provide an injection material pressurized feeding method to stably supply a fixed quantity of an injection material without aggregation and consolidation of the injection material even if the injection material having small particle diameter is used for blasting. A fixed quantity of the injection material is introduced from the injection material tank 2 to a cylindrical pressurizing tank 11 provided between the injection material tank 2 of the blasting device 1 and a blast nozzle, and introduction of compressed stirring gas is started at a deposition part of the injection material introduced in the pressurizing tank 11 then the injection material is stirred in the pressurizing tank 11, and an inside of the pressurizing tank 11 is pressurized by starting introduction of compressed pressurizing gas from a pressurizing tank side wall 11b, thereby the injection material in the state of stirring is pressure-fed to the blast nozzle.

摘要: An abrasive, which makes it possible to polish a surface to be processed of a workpiece with a blast processing, and together therewith, can bear using for a long period of time or a plurality of times, and a method for blast processing with the abrasive are provided. The abrasive is composed of a base material as an elastic body and abrasive grains, wherein the abrasive grains of 10 to 90% by weight are compounded and dispersed into the base material of 90 to 10% by weight such that a content rate (compounding ratio) of the abrasive grains in the abrasive is 10 to 90% by weight when an amount of the abrasive is 100% by weight. The method for blast processing includes a step of injecting or projecting the abrasive at a predetermined angle of incidence with respect to the surface to be processed of the workpiece.

摘要: In blasting with an abrasive containing liquid to confer elasticity, the abrasive from which liquid evaporates in the course of continuance use is uniformly supplied with liquid. Liquid for swelling an elastic abrasive is sprayed in an air flow for transporting the abrasive in a blasting machine 1 including an abrasive-recovery duct 91 communicating between a bottom of a cabinet 2 and an abrasive-recovery tank 3, the abrasive-recovery tank 3, a compressed gas before being introduced into a blasting gun 8, and so forth. Since the abrasive being transported in the air flow is separated into individual particles, each abrasive can be uniformly supplied with liquid.
