    摘要: A wheel bearing apparatus has an outer member, an inner member with an inner ring and double row rolling elements rollably contained between inner raceway surfaces of the inner member and outer raceway surfaces of the outer member. The inner ring is axially immovably secured on the wheel hub by a caulking portion. A thickness of a smaller end surface of the inner ring is larger than the height of a stepped portion of a wheel hub of the inner member. The axial position of the smaller end surface of the inner ring is set within an axial range between an axial position of the outermost-side point of the inner-side rolling elements of the double row rolling elements and an axial position of the groove bottom point of an inner raceway surface of the inner ring.

    摘要: An ABS encoder arrangement for a driven wheel bearing unit, with a multi-pole ring, a sensor device with a sensor head, and an annular cap element that has an annular wall portion which shields a cap interior against the exterior. The annular wall section extends through an intermediate region lying between the multi-pole ring and an end face of the sensor head. An extension concentric with the axis of rotation of the multi-pole ring and extending axially over a circumferential area of an articulated shaft head is connected to the annular wall section on a side facing away from the multi-pole ring. In the end portion of the extension facing away from the multi-pole ring and extending over the articulated shaft head, the extension forms a circumferential profile that radially stiffens the extension and forms an annular edge which extends into a circumferential groove of the articulated shaft head and forms a channel cross-section open to the outside.

At least one engagement component is configured as a toothed disk and is provided with the axial toothing and has an axial width which is at least the size of half the outer radius of the axial toothing.

    摘要: A wheel bearing apparatus has an outer member, an inner member including a wheel hub and at least one inner ring, and double row rolling elements freely rollably contained between the inner and outer raceway surfaces of the inner and outer members via cages. A hardened ring-shaped gear member is mounted on an end of a cylindrical portion of the wheel hub. The gear member is formed with a gear portion on its outer circumference and with a splined portion on its inner circumference. The splined portion engages a hub-splined portion formed on the outer circumference of the cylindrical portion of the wheel hub. A contacting surface of the gear member and a contacting surface of the inner ring that abut against each other are ground. The inner rings are axially immovably secured under a condition where a predetermined amount of a bearing pre-stress is applied to the inner rings via the gear member.

At least one protection unit is located between two ribs and has an engaging portion. A cover includes a cover face and two sidewalls so as to form an engaging groove. The engaging portion is engaged with the engaging groove. The three sides of the engaging portion are protected by the cover. The cover can be easily mounted to the ribs by the engagement of the engaging portion and the engaging groove so that the cover does not slip away from the ribs in radial direction.

    摘要: A carbon fiber rim comprises a circular rim and a heat conduction layer. The circular rim comprises carbon fiber composites, and has two opposite side surfaces facing two brake pads and two opposite hooks extending outward radially to hold tires. The heat conduction layer is arranged on the side surface of the circular rim for forming a braking region facing the brake pad. The heat conduction layer comprises a porous or mesh heat conduction material. A bicycle including the aforementioned carbon fiber rim and the manufacturing method of the carbon fiber rim are also disclosed here. The carbon fiber rim can prevent distortion due to frictional heat when braking.
