The unit heat exchangers are closely juxtaposed to each other fore and aft in a direction of air flow. Coolant circuits of said unit heat exchangers are connected either in series or in parallel with each other.

摘要： There is disclosed a cooling module for an automotive vehicle, comprising a condenser having a fluid manifold. The condenser includes at least one condenser end cap facing longitudinally outwards of the edge of the condenser for closing the aperture. The module further includes a radiator including at least one radiator end tank which includes a condenser mounting bracket. The mounting bracket is molded integrally to the radiator end tank and the condenser is mounted directly thereto.

摘要： A first cooling fin and a second cooing fin are separated to have a predetermine clearance, and a plurality of connecting portions for partly connecting the first and second cooling fins are formed. When the first and second cooling fins are unfolded, the length E of each the connecting portion in parallel with the longitudinal direction of the first and second cooling fins is equal to 5% or less of the length F between the adjacent connecting portions. Further, the first cooling fin is projected from the condenser tube toward the radiator tube side with a projection length Lc being in a range of 1.7 to 7.0 mm.

摘要： A cooling system sub-assembly for use in a motor vehicle comprising a charge air cooler mounted to a support structure attached to a chassis of the motor vehicle and a condenser mounted to the charge air cooler so as to accommodate at least differential thermal growth between the condenser and the charge air cooler and so as to dispose the condenser in series flow relationship with the charge air cooler. A first lateral end of the condenser is fixed relative to the charge air cooler, while a pair of generally horizontally extending pins are connected to the other lateral end of the condenser and slidingly engage compressible grommet assemblies disposed within holes formed in each of a pair of vertically spaced mount brackets attached to the charge air cooler. Alternatively, a pair of vertically spaced mount flanges may be cast as an integral unit with one of the end manifolds of the charge air cooler, with each of the flanges receiving one of the condenser pins.

摘要： The condenser is mounted in front of radiator by means of a mounting shroud, which includes a tubular portion for covering over an outer periphery of the condenser, a pair of vertical mounting walls provided on an inner periphery of the tubular portion, and a pair of mounting leg portions formed on an outer periphery of the tubular portion. The vertical mounting walls are securely fastened to upper and lower brackets of the condenser in a condition wherein the former contact with the latter, and the lower mounting leg portions are fitted in engaging recesses of a lower tank of the radiator while the upper mounting leg portions are securely fastened to an upper tank of the radiator. The tubular portion of the mounting shroud serves also as a wind introducing duct which prevents heated air having passed the radiator from coming around to the front of the condenser again.

摘要： Each of a pair of heat exchangers, such as a radiator and a condenser, includes a tubular structure defining a fluid flow path between an inlet manifold and an outlet manifold. The heat exchangers reside in juxtaposition for a unit with the respective fluid flow paths being congruently aligned along the axis of a stream of cooling medium passing therethrough. The heat exchangers are sealingly encased within a shroud for directing the stream of cooling medium through the tubular structures. The shroud, which is alternately usable with a conventional radiator, and the heat exchanger units are installed in a motor vehicle as a pre-fabricated modular cooling unit.
