Storage elements are accessible through hierarchical storage paths traversing multiple system components. Data blocks are distributed among the storage elements. System costs are calculated based on the storage path for reaching each storage element and a storage path is selected based on a comparison of the system costs for each storage element. Data blocks are accessed through the selected storage path.

A security appliance is set as the default gateway for intra-LAN communication by overwriting the DHCP responses. Message traffic from compromised endpoints is detected. Attributes of ransomware may be detected in the message traffic, as well as attempts to circumvent the security appliance. Compromised devices may be quarantined.

摘要: A transparent holographic diffuser screen that diffracts the light beams of a digital light projector, which focuses a real image in the plane of the aforementioned transparent holographic diffuser screen, which redirects the light to an eyebox at a pre-determined viewing position generating as a set of diffracted diffused beams that can be seen from the eyebox as a flat in-plane image. The transparent holographic diffuser screen may be used to provide either a highest luminance or a largest eyebox. Potential applications include use for automotive applications, which may include applications for displaying videos, playing games, and video conference apps.

Typically, a glycoprotein is also present in the cells. These cells can be used to deglycosylate or partly deglycosylate the (exogenous) glycoprotein, in particular, without the need for adding an extra enzyme. Methods are also provided for the application of these cells in protein production.

摘要: A lift crane includes a carbody; a rotating bed comprising a counterweight support frame; a boom; a counterweight unit supported on the counterweight support frame in a moveable relationship with respect to the counterweight support frame; and a counterweight unit movement device connected between the rotating bed and the counterweight unit to move the counterweight unit toward and away from the boom. The crane is configured such that during crane operation, the moment generated by the counterweight unit acts on the rotating bed predominantly through the counterweight support frame. Alternatively, the crane can include a mast. In some embodiments the same basic crane is configured to be set-up with two different counterweight options, i) a counterweight unit directly supported on the counterweight support frame and ii) a counterweight support beam moveably connected to the remainder of the rotating bed and a counterweight unit supported on the counterweight support beam.

摘要: A system and method for wireless synchronization on a network are disclosed. In one embodiment, the wireless device includes a wireless transceiver and processing circuitry. The wireless transceiver wirelessly receives synchronization information including a superframe from a first wireless, reader device, and wirelessly transmits the synchronization information to a second wireless, reader device and a portable wireless device, and to wirelessly detect a presence of a portable wireless device. The processing circuitry communicates synchronization information to the second wireless, reader device and portable wireless device. The superframe is used to synchronize a wireless data exchange between the third wireless, reader device and the portable wireless device.
