摘要: A circuit and method increases the repeatability of physically undetectable functions (PUFs) by enhancing the variation of signal delay through two delay chains during chip burn-in. A burn-in circuit holds the inputs of the two delay chains at opposite random values during the burn-in process. All the PFETs in the delay chains with a low value at the input will be burned in with a higher turn on voltage. Since the PFETs affected in the two delay chains are driven by opposite transitions at burn-in, alternating sets of delay components in the two delay chains are affected by the burn-in cycle. Under normal operation, both of the delay chains see the same input so only one chain has an increase in delay to achieve a statistically reliable difference in the two delay paths thereby increasing the overall repeatability of the PUF circuit.

摘要: A dummy instrument for use in a simulator, the instrument comprising a control body (101) with user manipulatable angulation control (105), an insertion tube (102) and an umbilical (103) extending from the control body. In a real instrument corresponding to the one being simulated, at least one angulation cable would extend from the user manipulatable controls to the tip of the insertion tube such that movement of the angulation control changes the angulation of the tip. In the dummy medical instrument the angulation cable extends from the user manipulatable angulation control, and down the umbilical. The umbilical is releasably attached to a main unit (105). A motor (20,21) within the instrument at the distal end of the umbilical to applies a variable force to the cable. A position detector (30,31) within the instrument detects the angular position of the angulation control.

摘要: Systems and methods for electronically ranking records of inventory items are provided. Inventory items satisfying search criteria are electronically identified and ranked according to an inventory score calculated from a function comprising inventory attribute values of the inventory items and weighting values corresponding to the inventory attributes. The scored inventory may be further displayed to a user, such as a user that electronically submits the search criteria. The attribute values may include inventory item characteristics perceptible to users of the inventory items. The weighting values may be generated from a discrete choice model employing a conditional logit function fit to training data. The inventory score function may further include a long term function that numerically represents inventory items characteristic that are not perceptible to users of the inventory items. The disclosed embodiments may be applied to inventory including, but not limited to, travel inventory, such as hotels.

摘要: An apparatus such as a television signal receiver employs an efficient and cost-effective signal processing architecture which enables, among other things, the reception and processing of both analog and digital signals from multiple signal sources, such as but not limited to, terrestrial and cable signal sources. According to an exemplary embodiment, the apparatus includes a first tuner operative to generate a first IF signal corresponding to a first RF signal. A first demodulator is operative to generate a first demodulated signal corresponding to the first IF signal. A second tuner is operative to generate a second IF signal corresponding to a second RE signal. A second demodulator is operative to generate a second demodulated signal corresponding to the second IF signal. A third demodulator is operative to generate a third demodulated signal corresponding to one of the first and second IF signals.

摘要: A SRAM cell write performance evaluation circuit includes a SRAM core where each wordline is connected to only one bit column. A ring oscillator circuit is used to generate wordline pulses. A state machine controls operations for the SRAM cell write performance evaluation circuit including the ring oscillator circuit and the SRAM core. A control signal is applied to the state machine to select a first write operation, where the circuit simultaneously writes all the cells to a known state with wide wordlines to ensure all cells are written. Then a second write operation is selected, and all the wordlines are launched simultaneously to write the cells to the opposite state. From these write operations, a required wordline pulse width to write the cell is identified.
