摘要: Obtaining a satisfactory feeling of mounting an earphone regardless of the user and achieving listening to reproduced acoustics with satisfactory sound quality is provided by an elastic auricle-mounting member surrounding a sound-discharging opening formed on a housing that accommodates a speaker unit. A space formed by the eardrum membrane, the speaker unit and the auricle-mounting member when a user wears the earphone on the auricle is communicated to the outside of the earphone via a ventilation resistor. Thus, it is possible to prevent deterioration in the sound quality attributable to pooled indistinct sound generated when the space encircled by the eardrum membrane, the speaker unit and the auricle-mounting member has been sealed.

摘要: An evaporative fuel control canister for use in an internal combustion engine includes a canister main body having a vapor absorbing chamber and a liquid separate chamber. The vapor absorbing chamber has a first portion filled with a vapor absorbing material, and a second spatial portion. The liquid separate chamber has an expansible and contractible member containing a liquid absorbing material. The vapor absorbing chamber is adjacent to the liquid separate chamber in a ventilation state. The canister includes a vapor passage coupling a fuel tank and the liquid separate chamber, and a purge passage coupling the internal combustion engine and the liquid separate chamber. The purge passage has a first opening positioned in the expansible and contractible member, and a second opening positioned in the second spatial portion. The canister includes stopper members for maintaining a surface of the expansible and contractible member at a position which the extensible and contractible member does not reach the second opening so that the second spatial portion is always maintained.

摘要: An optical fiber-connecting reinforcing member including a resin sheet having excellent heat resistance and peelability, and at least one laminate arranged on a surface of the resin sheet. The laminate consists of a reinforcing base plate made of a ceramic and a hot melt film. The hot melt film is bonded to the resin sheet. A process for producing optical fiber-connecting reinforcing member is also disclosed. A resin sheet having excellent heat resistance and peelability is first placed on a lower holding plate with a guide, and setting a perforated plate onto the upper surface of the resin sheet. The perforated plate has longitudinal through holes bored therethrough at a specific interval. Hot melt films and reinforcing base plates are each preliminarily cut to a given size, and inserted into the longitudinal holes. An upper holding plate is placed on the perforated plate, and then hot pressing is effected.

摘要: A projection type image display apparatus (1) comprises a focus correction system (30). The system includes a temperature detection mechanism (16) for measuring temperature in the vicinity of a projection lens group (13), a correction amount calculation unit (18) for calculating a correction amount for correcting the focus shift caused by a temperature change, and a driving signal generation unit (19) for generating, based on the correction amount, a driving signal for driving a focus adjustment mechanism (15). If the user performs a focus adjustment using a focus operation input unit (23), a focus operation determination unit (21) determines that a focus adjustment has occurred independently of the focus correction system and changes a correction condition stored in a memory (20).

摘要: An organic EL display device including organic EL light-emitting regions which includes a red-light emitting layer, a green-light emitting layer, and a blue-light emitting layer that are arranged on a main substrate includes: a first light-adjusting layer including a first portion and a second portion, the first portion selectively transmitting desired blue light, and the second portion absorbing visible light other than at least the desired blue light; and a second light-adjusting layer selectively absorbing light with a wavelength between desired red light and desired green light at an entire surface, in which the blue light-emitting layer is overlaid with the first portion, and a bank which is a non-light emitting portion is overlaid with the second portion. The first portion and the second portion may be integrally formed of a same material, and the second portion may absorb an entire range of visible light.

摘要: A display apparatus includes a substrate, organic electroluminescence units, and a lens sheet. The lens sheet includes a sheet base and lenses protruding from a surface of the sheet base. A transparent substrate is above the lens sheet, and a bonding layer that includes a resin bonds the lenses to the transparent substrate. Either the substrate or the organic electroluminescence units include an alignment mark. The lens sheet includes a groove formed between the lenses in the sheet base. The groove is used for alignment with the alignment mark. The resin covers a surface of each of the lenses and is filled into the groove. A boundary area between the sheet base and each of the lenses, which is located between a surface of a lens and the groove, is covered by the resin.
