    摘要: A lever assembly for use with electronic modules has a handle lever with a self-sprung cantilevered handle section. The cantilevered handle section can be flexed with respect to the non-cantilevered portion of the handle lever during module insertion to automatically engage a catch that prevents the handle lever from inadvertently or accidentally being released and unseating the module. Once the flexing force is removed, compression of the handle section remains at the catch, such that the handle section continues to apply leverage force in the closure direction to hold the module securely in place.

    摘要: In one embodiment, a removable air filter is mounted proximate to where electrical equipment is mounted in a case. The filter has at least two sections with different finite air impedances. The filter is constructed of a filter media mounted inside of a frame. When the equipment arrangement is modified, the filter can be replaced with another filter with a different impedance profile, such that the air flow remains optimal for many equipment arrangements. The impedance profile can also be tailored to compensate for the characteristic airflow of the case design. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

    摘要: An improved cold climate air-source heat pump comprising at least a primary compressor, a booster compressor, a first heat exchanger associated with an indoor environment and a second heat exchanger associated with an outdoor environment and with one heat exchanger acting as an evaporator and the other heat exchanger acting as a condenser, an expansion device, flow conduit means for circulating a refrigerant fluid in a closed loop, a first sensor means for sensing the temperature of the internal ambient air, a second sensor means for sensing the temperature of the external ambient air, a third sensor means for sensing the temperature of the refrigerant fluid flowing between the booster compressor and the primary compressor, a fourth sensor means for sensing the operative state of the primary compressor, a primary compressor operation control means responsive to inputs from the first sensor means, and a booster compressor operation control means responsive to inputs from the second, third, and fourth sensor means. The booster compressor operation control means is configured to initiate and shut down operation of the booster compressor based on inputs from the various sensor means, to ensure safe operation of the system and improved durability of the air-source heart pump.
