摘要: An ink jet recording head comprises an ink tank, a nozzle for discharging ink, a liquid chamber for retaining a specific amount of ink supplied from the ink tank through a filter, while supplying ink to the nozzle, and a covering member to be bonded to the liquid chamber, and on the circumference of the liquid chamber, a groove is formed to enable bonding agent to be coated therefor, and on the circumference of the covering member, an extrusion is formed to be fitted into the groove. For this ink jet recording head, gas releasing means is provided for releasing gas remaining in the bonding agent to the outside of the groove when the covering member is bonded to the liquid chamber by fitting the extrusion into the groove after the bonding agent is coated in the groove. With the structure thus arranged, it is possible to prevent leakage form occurring between liquid chambers, because voids are not formed by gas remaining in the bonding agent, which may connect liquid chambers adjacent to each other, and each of the liquid chambers is airtightly closed in the ink jet recording head for a better performance thereof.

摘要: In control of a recording process in accordance with block driving, the driving timing of a pulse train is avoided from overlapping with each other between blocks, and a load imposed on a power supply during the operation is reduced. To that end, a recording apparatus includes a pulse generating unit for generating a driving pulse train consisted of a number (m) of pulses including a plurality of preheating pulses and one main driving pulse taking part directly in a recording process, the intervals between the (m) pulses being each not less than the total time of pulse widths of the (m) pulses, and a driving unit for dividing a plurality of recording elements into multiple blocks, and driving the recording elements in units of block to perform recording in such a manner that just before the second preheating pulse of the driving pulse train for one block, the first preheating pulse of the driving pulse train for the next block is applied.

摘要: A method for manufacturing a one-way clutch cage allows slits of the cage to be formed with a short punching distance, wherein the slits are narrow in width and the cage is less prone to deformation. In this method for manufacturing a one-way clutch cage, after slits 8, 10, 11, 12 have been formed, windows 17 are formed and then an outer annular part 18 is cut. Therefore, since the slits can be formed in a cylindrical member 2 that has not yet been subjected to the window formation process of the outer annular part cut-out process, and that is sufficiently strong, a radially diagonal punching operation can be performed to form the slits. During this radially diagonal punching operation, a boundary portion between a cylindrical portion 3 and an outer flange 5 is punched out from an inside of the cylindrical member toward an outside of the cylindrical member. Thus, the punching distance can be shortened, the punching die can be thinned in thickness and the slit width can be reduced, as compared with horizontal punching.

摘要: A fluid ejection head comprises a heater disposed in a fluid path. A bubble is generated by supplying electric power to the heater, and ink is ejected in a direction substantially parallel to a face of the heater. The fluid path is shaped to have a first part with a constant-sectional area adjacent to an ejection orifice a second part located behind the first part and containing the heater. The cross-sectional area of the second part increases by twice as large as the cross-sectional area of the ejection orifice, a length (A) between an end of the first part of the fluid path and a top end of the heater is greater than or equal to half of the height Ph of the ejection orifice, and a shortest gap between the ejection orifice and the heater is less than or equal to a sum of a half of the height Ph of the ejection orifice and a length (L) of the first part of the fluid path.
