Abstract:
An image processing apparatus in an image processing system in which a plurality of image processing apparatuses is connected via a network performs processing as below. The apparatus judges a type of data, sets priorities of image processings for the data in accordance with the judged type, obtains a plurality of image processing capabilities provided for the plurality of image processing apparatuses via the network, and determines a processing route along which the data is processed through the plurality of image processing apparatuses. Image processings for the data are performed in the image processing system by transferring the data along the determined processing route.
Abstract:
An amplifier failure detection apparatus for a radio transmitter that has a function for compensating for amplifier distortion of the radio transmitter and a function for determining amplifier failure has occurred by detecting that the gain of an amplifier has dropped a set level or more, in which: a gain-detection unit detects the gain of the amplifier; an alarm-detection-level-generation unit, which has a table for storing alarm-detection levels that correspond to input-amplitude levels, generates an alarm-detection level that corresponds to an input-amplitude level; and a comparison unit compares the gain detected by the gain-detection unit with the alarm-detection level, and generates an alarm based on the comparison results.
Abstract:
It is expected that lectins of a needed number of types appropriately corresponding the variation of sugar chains, if available, are highly useful as tools for analyzing various sugar chains. From a lectin library containing plural types of lectins or an arbitrary mass of lectins containing plural types of lectins, lectins needed for analyzing sugar chains are selected to thereby construct a lectin sub-library. Using the lectin sub-library thus constructed, cells having sugar chains are identified. Moreover, an indication method whereby cells can be conveniently identified is provided.
Abstract:
A semiconductor nonvolatile memory cell array includes a plurality of semiconductor nonvolatile memory cells. Each memory cell has a control electrode (30); a pair of impurity diffusion regions (21, 22) to provide first and second main electrodes; a pair of variable resistance sections (24, 26); and a pair of charge storage sections (50, 52). The array has a word line (33) electrically connected to the control electrodes of the semiconductor nonvolatile memory cells and bit lines provided perpendicular to the word line and composed of the impurity diffusion regions; and layer insulation layers (57, 58) provided between the charge storage sections and the word line.
Abstract:
A multiplexing and transmission apparatus including a transmitter and a receiver is provided. The transmitter includes a control pulses generating circuit generating control pulses having different phases; channel-frame generating circuits each outputting low-speed frame signal in synchronization with the control pulse; and a multiplexing circuit multiplexing the low-speed frame signals into the high-speed serial signal. The receiver includes a demultiplexer demultiplexing high-speed serial signal into low-speed frame signals; channel-frame synchronization circuits each generating a frame pulse corresponding to the low-speed frame signal; a switching circuit switching each of the low-speed frame signals to an appropriate port of the channel; and a switch controller circuit controlling the switching circuit.

Abstract:
This image processing device for games is a device whereby a prescribed number of models (characters) are setup in virtual space, these models are controlled such that they move in prescribed directions in the virtual space, and images of this virtual space from a virtual viewpoint are displayed on means for display. In order to display the movement of the models that are arranged in virtual space more realistically, in one construction thereof, this device is provided with means for image processing that apply virtual centripetal force to the models. Furthermore, in order to display the movement of the models more realistically and to heighten the dramatic effect, in one construction thereof, this device is equipped with means for processing residual image presentation in order to represent the track of movement of a model as residual images. This means for processing is equipped with means for storage that store without modification motion data of the model prior to the current motion and with means for display control that display this stored data together with the current motion data.
Abstract:
The problem is to provide ink for a ballpoint pen which enables to write well on a flat and smooth, and impermeable surface such as metal, glass, plastic material and the like and a ballpoint pen using this ink. Ink for an aqueous ballpoint pen, of viscosity in the range of 5 through 30 mPa.s at 20° C. and using an oil-in-water type resin emulsion, including a solvent of water and alcohol-based solvent of 0.5 kPa to 10 kPa vapor pressure at 20° C., pigment and water-soluble resin, with an aggregate concentration of solid contents of said water-soluble resin and oil-in-water type resin emulsion being 5.0 to 30.0 mass % against total composition of the ink, and a ballpoint pen using the ink.
