摘要: A MUSE sound decoder detects a broadcasting/non-broadcasting identification flag included in the control signals in an applied MUSE signal to determine whether the MUSE signal is broadcasted or non-broadcasted. The MUSE sound decoder further includes a frame synchronization protection circuit for protecting frame synchronization over a predetermined frame synchronization protection time period when the frame synchronization pattern is not detected at the proper timing. The frame synchronization protection circuit sets the frame synchronization protection time period to a long time period when the MUSE signal is determined to be a broadcasted MUSE signal, and to a short time period when the MUSE signal is determined to be a non-broadcasted MUSE signal. Appropriate muting of a sound signal can be carried out according to the condition of the received MUSE signal.

摘要: A first layered article (14a) in which a first electrolyte membrane (12a) and an anode-side catalyst layer (13a) are laminated, and a second layered article (14b) in which a second electrolyte membrane (12b) and a cathode-side catalyst layer (13b) are laminated, are formed. Then, the first layered article (14a) and the second layered article (14b) are disposed so that the electrolyte membrane-side surfaces of the two articles face each other. A reinforcement frame (20) is then disposed between the two articles. The whole layered assembly in this state is thermocompression-bonded. Thus, a membrane-electrode assembly (15) in which the reinforcement frame (20) is embedded within an electrolyte membrane (15) that is formed by the fusion of first electrolyte membrane (12a) and the second electrolyte membrane (12b) is obtained.

摘要: The present invention provides a catalyst-coated membrane and a membrane-electrode assembly that can easily and surely achieve a polymer electrolyte fuel cell having excellent durability, in which the decomposition/degradation of a polymer electrolyte membrane can be suppressed, and a decrease in initial characteristics can be prevented sufficiently for a long period of time even when the polymer electrolyte fuel cell is frequently started and stopped. In the catalyst-coated membrane that includes an anode catalyst layer, a cathode catalyst layer, and a hydrogen ion conductive polymer electrolyte membrane interposed between the anode catalyst layer and the cathode catalyst layer, a peripheral area of at least one of the anode catalyst layer and the cathode catalyst layer is provided with a decrease portion in which the mass of the electrode catalyst per unit area of the catalyst layer decreases from the inner side toward the outer side.

摘要: A technique is provided which protects copyrights of contents and at the same time enhances the user's convenience. When a user makes a request of the use or duplication of map data stored in a storage device via an operating unit, a control unit first causes an encryption engine to read out a content key from the storage device. Then it causes a license generator to encrypt the read-out content key with a device ID stored in a device ID storage. License data containing the content key thus generated are transferred to the storage device via the encryption engine and are overwritten and replaced by license data recorded in the storage device.
