摘要: An optical device is disposed with: a swollen portion that is attached to the underside of a reflective surface of a reflective mirror, swells in an outward direction of the reflective mirror and is configured as part of a spherical surface. A mirror orientation adjustment lever that is attached to the underside of the reflective surface of the reflective mirror, extends along the underside of the reflective mirror, and protrudes from an end edge of the reflective mirror when seen planarly. The reflective mirror is disposed along a side wall of an optical parts-use casing. The side wall includes, at the position where the reflective mirror is disposed, a spherical concave portion corresponding to a spherical surface of the swollen portion, and when the reflective mirror is disposed at the disposition position, the swollen portion is supported by the spherical concave portion.

摘要: A composite material includes a thermoplastic resin, and silica glass spheres having a specific surface area of 0.5-10 m2/g. The composite material incorporates the silica glass spheres in an amount of 40% by volume or more. A method of manufacturing a composite material incorporating a thermoplastic resin and silica glass spheres manufactures the composite material which incorporates the silica glass spheres at a compounding ratio determined on a basis of a coefficient of linear expansion of the composite material at a singular point of the thermoplastic resin.

摘要: Management information is read from an information storage medium having the management information recorded thereon, the management information including track number information imparted to at least one track and group management information for managing as selective recording information one or a plurality of tracks as one group. Judgment is then made upon whether the group management information is included in that management information. A display mode is changed depending on a case where the group management information is recorded and a case where it is not recorded, and it is then displayed in a displaying device.

摘要: The invention concerns a light deflection device, and a control method for the light deflection device, which are rich in expandability of drive control. The light deflection device includes a polygon mirror to reflect the light beam; a rotor, having a magnet, to rotate the polygon mirror attached to the rotor; a stator on which a plurality of drive coils are fixed so as to generate a rotational force; and a plurality of connecting ports through which the plurality of drive coils are electronically coupled to a plurality of drive circuits, each of which drives the drive coils while controlling the rotational force to be generated between the magnet and drive coils. One of the drive circuits controls the rotational force during a start-up operation and a steady-rotating operation of the rotor, while another one controls the rotational force during a decelerating operation of the rotor.
