    摘要： An apparatus and method for the continuous manufacture of printed, laminated stock is provided. The apparatus is designed to use plain, uncoated webs and at separate stations along a continuous path apply a release coating, apply an adhesive, join the webs together and imprint the combined webs to yield a final, laminated and imprinted stock. By die cutting and stripping the stock at further stations, discrete elements such as labels may be produced and carried by one of the webs. The apparatus preferably includes stations for curing and remoisturizing the release coated web, whereby a known moisture content is provided for the release coating prior to the application of adhesive and joining the webs into laminated stock. The process includes providing respective webs, applying a release coating to one web, joining the two webs together, imprinting at least one of the webs and routing the combined webs to a delivery station whereby the entire process is continuous and uninterrupted.

    摘要： A mechanism for adjusting a distance between a glue machine and an introducing port of a heating port in a double facer corrugating machine is provided for the purpose of optimizing a penetrated amount of applied paste into a core paper sheet to insure a sticking force between a single-faced corrugated cardboard sheet and a liner. The distance adjusting mechanism includes guide rails and traveling wheels provided in the glue machine and running along the guide rails. In one aspect of the invention, the glue machine is adjustably moved along the guide rails by means of a hydraulic cylinder connected between the glue machine and a stationary frame, and in another aspect of the invention, the glue machine is adjustably driven along the guide rails by means of an electric motor mounted to the glue machine for driving the traveling wheels.

    摘要： A continuous structural laminate includes a plurality of continuous generally parallel spaced integrally bonded porous blankets with a continuous polymeric matrix extending through each porous blanket. The polymeric matrices include solidified polymeric mixtures with each mixture including a polymer forming material, a gas foaming agent, a catalyst and a major portion of a particulate reinforcement. The polymeric matrices include compatible polymer forming materials. At least two of the blankets include polymeric matrices with differing particulate reinforcements. The continuous structural laminate is formed and applied with mobile apparatus including a support portion, a raw material supplying portion, a mixing portion, a matrix forming portion and a control portion. The support portion includes at least two base sections with carriages depending from a first base section including a plurality of spaced transverse axle assemblies and wheels mounted on free ends of each axle assembly. A boom section extends from the first base section with transfer mechanism selectively moving a second base section along the boom section. The raw material supplying portion includes a plurality of reservoirs disposed on the first base section. A blanket support also is disposed on the first base section. A mixing portion, matrix forming portion and blanket combining mechanism are disposed closely adjacent to the second base section and movable therewith.

    摘要： Apparatus is provided for the production of a corrugated pasteboard having a cover coating on at least one side. The apparatus includes a toothed corrugating element, a toothed corrugating counter-element co-operating therewith, a glue applicator and a drying apparatus. At least one corrugating element is an endless element (2) which loops at least partially around the other element (1). In this manner the noise generation and roll wear are reduced, the quality of the corrugated cardboard is improved, the paper consumption and difficulties of adjustment of parts of the apparatus are reduced and the feed and introduction of the paper web are facilitated.
