    摘要: A feed assembly, a boring head and an alignment device. The feed assembly may include a feed mechanism; an adjustment mechanism to adjust a feed rate of the feed mechanism; and a gage to indicate the feed rate. The boring head may include a body supportable on and for rotation with the bar; and a tool holder to support a tool to work on a workpiece and supported for radial movement on the body to adjust a radial position of the tool. An alignment device may include a clamp lockable in an axial position on the bar; an alignment member engageable with a bore of a workpiece; and an adjustment member between the locking clamp and the alignment member, the adjustment member and the alignment member include complementary threads, the adjustment member being rotatable about the axis to move the alignment member relative to the clamp along the axis.

    摘要: A drive tool has a tubular drive shaft extending along a first axis with a first end of the shaft defining a connector element including a part-spherical cavity. A second end of the shaft has a drive element. The connector element has walls surrounding the part-spherical cavity, and a pair of slots extending along the walls of the connector element between an outer surface of the connector element and the cavity. A drive element extends along a second axis having a driver tool at a first end and a part-spherical head at a second end, the head pivotally mount in the part-spherical cavity in the connector element. A pair of deflectable arms which engage the part-spherical head are mounted adjacent the cavity of the tubular drive shaft and are deflectable through the slots onto the part-spherical head.

    摘要: A drilling unit mounted on an arm of an assembly robot. In order to enable a drill bush of a nose piece, for guiding a drill, to be adjustably moved into exactly registering relation with a bore of a template laid on a workpiece, the nose piece is mounted on a first cylindrical member which is mounted on a second cylindrical member through a first compliance mechanism comprising elastic support members which constitute oblique links of a trapezoidal link mechanism having an imaginary intersection of the oblique links at a front end of the drill bush. The drill bush can therefore make a swinging motion about the intersection. The second cylindrical member is mounted on a guide plate through a second compliance mechanism which enables the second cylindrical member and hence the drill bush to adjustably move in a radial direction of a rotational shaft of the drilling unit.
