摘要： A rubber compound obtained by compounding a raw rubber, powdered vulcanized scrap rubber with its surface partially processed via a swelling treatment, a vulcanizing agent and a vulcanizing accelerator. When manufacturing the compound, the scrap rubber is treated beforhand under ordinary temperature atomosphere by being mixed with a reclaiming agent that contains petroleum process oil.

摘要： A process for the preparation of a photocurable resin which comprises the steps of(I) (a) imidating 20 to 80 mole % of the acid arthydride groups present in an adduct prepared by the addition reaction of an .alpha.,.beta.-unsaturated dicarboxylic acid arthydride to a conjugated diene polymer or copolymer with a primary amine to produce water and an amide,(b) reacting the thus formed water as a by-product with at least a part of the remaining acid arthydride groups in said adduct to produce the succinic acid groups by opening the ring of said acid arthydride groups,(II) dehydrating the thus produced succinic acid groups by heating to cause ring closure again thereby forming acid anhydride groups and(III) reacting at least a part, preferably at least 50 mole %, of the acid anhydride rings present in the polymer with an .alpha.,.beta.-unsaturated monocarboxylic acid ester having an alcoholic hydroxyl group to conduct a half-esterification by opening the ring of said acid arthydride groups.

摘要： A composition containing reclaimed vulcanized rubber particles and capable of being recycled by melting is disclosed. A thermoplastic substrate is first melted, and an acid or base deflocculant and emulsifier for the rubber particles is added and mixed. The rubber particles are then added and heated with the substrate under high shear forces to redo the size of the particles, cause them to swell, and to emulsify the surface. The acid or base deflocculant is then neutralized to its isoelectric point, with the surfaces of the altered rubber particles in phase with the thermoplastic substrate.

摘要： Hydrogenated butadiene polymers having terminal functional groups have minimum viscosity at any molecular weight when the 1,2-addition is between 30% and 70% Hydrogenated butadiene polymers having about two terminal hydroxyl groups per molecule have surprisingly lower viscosities at 30% to 70% 1,2-addition than similar polymers having either higher or lower amounts of 1,2-addition. The polymers are useful in making coatings, sealants, binders, and block copolymers with polyesters, polyamides, and polycarbonates.

摘要： A vulcanizable epoxy group-containing elastomer composition is disclosed, comprising (A) an epoxy group-containing elastomer, (B) an organic compound containing at least two ##STR1## bonds, wherein X and Y, which may be the same or different, each represents an oxygen atom or a sulfur atom, per molecule or an organic compound containing at least two carboxyl groups per molecule, and (C) a phosphine compound represented by formula: ##STR2## wherein R.sub.1 and R.sub.2, which may be the same or different, each represents an alkyl group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms; and R represents a hydrogen atom or an alkoxy group having from 1 to 4 carbon atoms. The composition has excellent compression set, particularly in a high temperature atmosphere, as well as excellent mechanical characteristics.

摘要： The present invention provides a filler-containing thermoplastic resin composition which is well balanced in dimensinoal stability, rigidity, heat resistance and impact strength. This composition comprises: (I) 100 parts by weight of a resin comprising 5-95% by weight of a polyphenylene ether resin, a mixture of a polyphenylene ether resin and a styrene resin or a graft polymer of a polyphenylene ether resin and styrene and 95-5% by weight of polyamide resin, (II) 0-50 parts by weight of a rubber-like material, (III) 2.0-50 parts by weight of an inorganic filler having an average particle size of 5.0.mu. or less and/or a glass fiber and (IV) 0.01-10 parts by weight of at least one compatibilizing agent which improves compatibility between the polyphenylene resin and the polyamide resin. Talc is preferred as the inorganic filler.
