摘要: A method of monitoring an electrical system having a plurality of electrical loads may include operating the plurality of electrical loads, obtaining a combined power profile for the plurality of electrical loads, decomposing the combined power profile into individual electrical load profiles from the combined power profile, and controlling operation of one or more electrical loads of the plurality of electrical devices according to the individual electrical load profile of the one or more electrical loads. Decomposing the combined power profile may include applying multi-dimensional event decomposition to the combined power profile to identify and disaggregate the combined power profile into the individual electrical load profiles. Decomposing the combined power profile may include detecting power consumption events of the plurality of electrical loads. Decomposing the combined power profile may include classifying the detected power consumption events.

摘要: Systems and methods for calibrating a distance model and estimating a distance between one or more wireless devices, such as one or more Bluetooth or other types of wireless devices, for social distancing and contact tracing are described. The system includes at least one processor configured to determine an environmental fingerprint from an acoustic signal propagating within an environment, such as a room or another area. The environmental fingerprint may be compared to a database of predefined environmental fingerprints and one or more similar predefined environmental fingerprints identified. The predefined environmental fingerprints may be associated with one or more distance model parameters, which may be used to calibrate a distance model. In addition, the predefined environmental fingerprints may be associated with pretrained distance models. The calibrated or pretrained distance models may be used to process wireless signals in the environment to estimate the distance between users of wireless devices.

摘要: In one embodiment, a lighting fixture adapter includes a sliding rail structure configured to slidably receive an insert and a mounting slot positioned below the sliding rail structure and configured with one or more mounting holes at a bottom of the mounting slot. The insert may be configured to be secured to a mounting position. The one or more mounting holes may be configured to receive one or more mounting features to secure a lighting device to the lighting fixture adapter. A position of the insert in the sliding rail structure is adjustable within a length range of the sliding rail structure.

摘要: A pump actuator for use between a cam and a pump comprises a pump actuator body having a pad defined between a plunger facing surface and an opposite roller facing surface, where the plunger facing surface is recessed into the pump actuator body and offset from a radial end. The pump actuator body further comprises a cylindrical wall defined between the radial end and the plunger facing surface. A concave surface feature is formed on the pad on its plunger facing surface. The opposite roller facing surface of the pad is provided with a surface enhancing treatment comprising shot peening. These features, separately or in combination, provide mass-neutral improvements of the pump actuator body's fatigue life.

摘要: When selecting cylinders of a multi-cylinder diesel engine in an engine system for cylinder deactivation (CDA), a method can comprise designating a first resonance around a first periodic frequency output of the engine system as a primary boundary and designating a second resonance around a second periodic frequency output of the engine system as a secondary boundary. Selecting cylinders can comprise selecting one of half, one third, or two thirds of the multiple cylinders for CDA while firing the remaining multiple cylinders. The selection can be made so that the periodic frequency output of the engine is between the primary and secondary boundaries. A compact periodic frequency band can be implemented to further restrict the selection of cylinders for CDA. The first periodic frequency output can be about 15 Hertz+/−1.5 Hertz and the second periodic frequency output can be between 30-40 Hertz+/−1.5 Hertz.

摘要: The invention provides a connector system for use in a power distribution system, which can be found in a motor vehicle, and includes features that increase the safety, durability and reliability of the connector system and the power distribution system. The connector system includes a female connector assembly with a female housing, a female terminal assembly that is inserted into the female housing using a first force, and a touchproof member inserted into the female terminal assembly using a second force oriented opposite the first force. The touch-proof member prevents insertion of a foreign object into the female terminal assembly. The connector system also includes a male connector assembly with a male terminal assembly, and a male housing assembly with a touch-proof element opening that receives an extent of the touch-proof member. The male terminal assembly includes a male terminal body with contact arms having a neck portion with a neck width and a body portion with a body width that is greater than the neck width. The male terminal assembly also includes a spring member that resides within a receiver of the male terminal body, wherein during operation of the power distribution system, spring arms of the spring member apply an outwardly directed biasing force on the contact arms.
