    摘要: A hemispherical grain (HSG) formation process for enlarging the surface area of a capacitor electrode, wherein stable, defect-free HSG, having outstanding selectivity, is formed. An amorphous silicon layer, which constitutes a capacitor electrode, is formed on an Si wafer, on which is formed a silicon-based dielectric layer, which constitutes an interlevel dielectric layer. An HSG layer, in which there exists practically no defects, is formed on the amorphous silicon layer at a crystal nuclei formation temperature of under 620° C. Further, in accordance with properly controlling the crystal nuclei formation temperature, and the flow rate of monosilane (SiH4), which is supplied for crystal nuclei formation, it is possible to furnish selectivity such that HSG nuclei are formed solely on the amorphous silicon layer, without being formed on a silicon-based dielectric layer.

    摘要: There is disclosed a despreading circuit which can reduce a circuit scale and power consumption. In the despreading circuit of the present invention, A/D converter converts a CDMA modulated analog signal to a digital signal of N bits, a searcher detects a synchronization phase from high-order small bits of the N bits and outputs synchronization phase information to a control circuit, the control circuit transmits a signal for allowing despreading to be performed to a sliding correlator based on the phase information, and the sliding correlator despreads the N bit digital signal outputted by the A/D converter and transmits the resulting correlation output as a demodulated signal to the outside.

    摘要: A substrate processing apparatus comprises a semiconductor wafer processing chamber, a wafer transfer device, a wafer cassette holding unit, a wafer cassette transfer device and a wafer cassette bringing in/out section disposed in this order and a housing. The wafer cassette holding unit is movable between a wafer processing time position and a maintenance time position thereof and the wafer cassette transfer device is movable between a wafer processing time position and a maintenance time position thereof. The wafer cassette bringing in/out section is capable of rotating forward of the housing, whereby the front face of said housing is opened. With the wafer cassette holding unit being positioned at the maintenance time position thereof, the wafer cassette transfer device being positioned at the maintenance time position thereof and the wafer cassette bringing in/out section being rotated forward of the housing to open the front face thereof, maintenance of the wafer transfer device can be performed from the front face of the housing.

    摘要: A rotary shaft is supported by a frame so as to be rotatable and movable vertically relative to the frame. A carrying arm is pivoted to the rotary shaft and a substrate receiver is attached to an end of the carrying arm and receives a substrate. A guide base is mounted on the rotary shaft on the lower side of the substrate receiver in such a manner that the guide base is approximately parallel to the substrate receiver, and a substrate alignment mechanism is attached to the rotary shaft via the guide base. The substrate alignment mechanism includes a pair of location correcting members which are coupled to air cylinders. The location correcting members are displaced by air cylinders to correct the location of substrate.

    摘要: An image transmission system and method for transmitting an image, which has been divided into a plurality of pixel blocks, comprising a transmitting device and a receiving device. The transmitting device includes an information source encoder for dividing an image to be transmitted into a plurality of pixel blocks in an original arrangement, a pixel block dispersing unit for arranging the pixel blocks of the image according to predetermined rules, and a modulator for successively modulating and transmitting the rearranged blocks. The receiving device includes a demodulator for successively receiving and demodulating the blocks transmitted from the modulator, a pixel block rearranging unit for rearranging the received blocks of the image back into the original arrangement according to the predetermined rules, an information source decoder for decoding the pixel blocks, and a pixel data interpolator for interpolating any block which has suffered a transmission error based on blocks adjacent thereto in the original arrangement. Since any block which has suffered a transmission error is interpolated using normal blocks, the original image can be reproduced with high quality by the receiving device.
